We wanted to settle here at night because unfortunately we could not come earlier. However, groups of young people had set up there, so we could not stay.
It is awful and has no attraction, not even the river because it cannot be seen from here. There are only stones, dust and scrub. I do not even think it is interesting for stopping to eat or rest.
Quiet area, although you can hear the dual carriageway a little farther away. A few picnic tables and barbecues, with the river below. Perfect for spending an evening and a night.
Great, pleasant spot where you can sleep. People are just opposite around the barbecues and tables, but from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. it is quiet. Dogs allowed and very peaceful. If you are going to the Ille-sur-Têt gorges, it is less than 30 minutes on foot, although it is not worth the €5 entrance fee. You can still visit for free without doing the full circuit; the viewpoint is free.
Farther up at the start of the road, opposite a large rest area with tables, there is a large parking area slightly elevated. We have slept there twice. It was very quiet both times and we were alone each time. It feels more protected than the parking areas directly beside the road.
Secluded, quiet and beautiful place. There is no garbage or water available, and you can hear the cars on the main road.
