A beautiful, quiet place directly on the Eider. Perfect for relaxing. The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated. No grey-water disposal. No Wi-Fi. Price for one motorhome, two people and electricity: €21 per night.
Very beautiful, idyllic place directly on the Eider, with a charming, nostalgic and clean bathroom. Very nice operator and friendly long-term campers. We highly recommend it!
Super relaxing place! The owner is fantastic—friendly and very helpful! Recommended for campers who like dead ends and prefer only short dog walks! Fresh eggs from different breeds of chickens—what a luxury! The sanitary facilities are not up to date, in keeping with the price, but definitely very clean!
We love this campsite, which is directly on the Eider. Everything you need is available. The operator couple are extremely nice and kind. It is exceptionally quiet at night and otherwise perfect for relaxing or enjoying water sports. We can recommend this place without reservation. One motorhome, two people and two dogs: €17.50 in high season. Excellent. Thank you, we will return.
Super relaxing place. Sanitary facilities clean but old. We used the site as the starting point for a canoe trip, and the campsite operator picked us up afterwards—great service! A true place to relax. We will return.
This is where the real camping feeling comes back. A meadow on the Eider, a toilet block, a small sandy beach, a few play structures and an ice-cream van that rings its bell. Wonderfully relaxed campsite manager. Starting point for great cycling routes. We will definitely return.
Very beautifully located, with absolute peace at night. Electricity is available, but in limited quantity. Pure nature surrounds the site and invites you to cycle, walk and linger. No restaurant or snack bar nearby. Sanitary facilities clean but somewhat outdated. Otherwise everything is available. Drinking water only at the sanitary building. Very friendly operators; we will certainly return.
Not especially friendly. We did not see the animals, and we were not allowed to set up near the children's play area even though we were the only ones with children. The excuse was that we would have had to move the next day, which I had accepted without any problem, but then it was no longer possible. The showers are lukewarm.
A beautiful nature campsite with very friendly operators. Absolutely recommended! Delicious bread rolls can be ordered in advance, and there is an old but extremely clean sanitary building. It was a perfect starting point for a great paddling trip.
Very relaxing, green campsite where you feel comfortable. The sanitary facilities are rustic but very clean. The manager is very friendly and you quickly feel at home. There is not much to do in the immediate surroundings, but it is perfect for resting! The price is also very attractive: €15 per night for two adults and a small van, without electricity. Highly recommended!
Very beautiful and peaceful location on the Eider. Simple but clean sanitary facilities. Good starting point for cycling tours along the Eider and Sorge, especially when the Bargener and Hohner ferries operate at weekends.
Very quiet parking area directly on the Eider. It was completely empty when we were there—wonderful. Great value for money. Extremely nice operator! Dogs were warmly welcomed. We would gladly return.
Small campsite with an idyllic view of the Eider and lots of greenery around it. Great starting point for cycling or canoe tours. Good value for money. The sanitary facilities are simple but adequate. The only negative point is the so-called “kitchen,” which was really neglected and sparsely equipped.
A superb place, idyllically located by the water. Very quiet and natural. Unbelievably, we were almost alone there with our camper. The toilets and other facilities are dated but clean. We will definitely return.
Pure holiday. Very quiet, with only sheep, which does not bother us at all—in fact, quite the opposite. We were there during the week, so there was lots of space. A small children's playground and a little boat landing are directly next to the motorhome area, very idyllic. Pets are very welcome. We were there with our small cat; be careful, owls are active in the evening, so do not let cats or small dogs outside anymore.
We truly enjoyed our time here. The place is peaceful and beautiful countryside.
Great quiet place in beautiful surroundings. Friendly campsite manager who makes a great effort. The washroom is clean but outdated.
What can we say? We are blown away by so much kindness, surrounded by nature, water and peace. A dream, also for our dog. So nice! We will definitely return. Pssst, insider tip :)
