Been here?
This riverside spot is currently difficult to access because of large rubble piles and a construction-vehicle turning area. The approach includes a paved or dirt road and can require 4x4 access when wet. A small nearby road has very little traffic, but caravans may struggle to reach the river.

We couldn't reach the river by the access road. There are large piles of rubble and only one spot on site for construction vehicles to turn around. We drove on, although sleeping here might be possible in an emergency.
Acces better with 4x4 when is wet. The area is besides a small road with very little traffic. We did not stay to sleep due rain warnings at night but the place has good potential. Sandy at the end, acces is paved/dirt road. Not very recomended for caravans but you can try.
There is currently construction work there and it somehow smelled of tar, so I drove on. Otherwise, it seems to be a really beautiful place.
Great spot by the river. There was a little rubbish, but no bad smell. If the military base next door is holding exercises, there may be loud bangs (for us, only during the day). The river is clean. We spent two nights here.
Beautiful, quiet spot; the approach was manageable for a T4. It is relatively peaceful, especially when it is quiet. The river is beautiful, but it is somewhat difficult to access, and even more difficult with dogs. There is no rubbish bin, so the place looks a little littered. We collected as much rubbish as we could. Leave places cleaner than you found them.
