Pond parking, overnight ban

Nice and quiet place beside a pond; I could barely hear the cars passing by.

It is not possible to spend the night here, however beautiful the place may be. A municipal police officer came to speak to me because he thought I was going to stay overnight in my van. He confirmed that a municipal order had been issued on the matter. I looked for the notice around the pond but could not find it.

I live in the village and regularly see motorhomes staying overnight. I do not see any prohibition on overnight stays. The spot is very nice, a municipal pond with toilets and water, and in my opinion you are completely entitled to spend the night here. I should point out that I am also a motorhome owner.

Excellent little stopover, with a short hike nearby that I did by bicycle but which can also be done on foot.
