Wonderful campsite. Lovely and peaceful with beautiful pitches. After several weeks travelling through Scandinavia, this was our last stop in Sweden and we really enjoyed it. The little shop is also very nice and the facilities are spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!Translating
The most beautiful campsite of our trip. A wonderful little campsite in the middle of the forest on the lakeshore. A lovely small sandy beach nearby. Clean sanitary facilities.Translating
Very nice campsite. The facilities were clean; men and women do not have separate facilities, everything is shared, while the showers are in separate cubicles. If the lake water had been warmer, we would have stayed longer. The walking route near the campsite is also very beautiful! There are many mosquitoes, though. Nice little shop, and the food at the bakery looked very good too.Translating
Very nice site near the lake. Most pitches were double pitches; with two motorhomes, even small ones, the awning has to remain retracted. Fortunately, we had a pitch to ourselves. We thought 400 SEK was expensive, and then electricity cost another €6 per day.Translating
We stayed for two nights; the pitches are quite cramped when fully occupied. That was fine for us. We felt very comfortable. One point deducted because nobody was there and no one cleaned the toilets. You should definitely take the blue hiking trail. It is worth it for the view.Translating
A peaceful, beautiful campsite. The owner was very nice. We were travelling by car and tent and could buy power adapters on site :) The sanitary facilities (two rooms) were very clean and warm :) Läckö Castle is also nearby.Translating
Nice little place in the forest, about a five-minute walk from the lake. Reasonably priced, with toilets, washing-up facilities, and a water refill station. The owners also run a small, cute café with coffee and cake, as well as souvenirs. I would come back for one night.Translating
Very beautiful site in the forest. Excellent cycle path to Spiken. A little expensive.Translating
Simply a special place! We stayed longer.Translating
What a beautiful location among the trees by the lake (50 m), where you can swim. The facilities are fine and everything works. Wi-Fi could be better; it regularly dropped out where we were staying. Bread rolls and cinnamon rolls are recommended, as are the pizza and cake. There is a small shop. It is small-scale, but it has what you need. Not suitable for motorhomes over 8 m. We booked an extra night!Translating
Very nice site, peaceful, with the water (very cold) only a few metres away via a path. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the baked goods that many people have already praised here really are excellent :-) The facilities are clean and practical, but grey water cannot be emptied (toilets can). Definitely worth it for a relaxing stay.Translating
It was wonderful. One of the highlights of our trip to Sweden. Such a beautiful area and a great site. The campsite operator makes the best cinnamon rolls I have eaten in Sweden—and they are freshly baked every morning. Tip: they taste best warm!Translating
Peaceful place in the middle of the forest. We paid 400 kroner for one night. A little too few toilets and showers.Translating
Lovely place. We do not need electricity, so we were allowed to stay in the garden. Friendly service. They serve fantastic bread rolls for breakfast in the café or at the motorhome. Clean and tidy toilets and showers. An incredibly beautiful coastal trail loop from the campsite. We will be back.Translating
Fantastic location with good facilities, beautifully situated on Lake Vänern. An expensive site—we had to pay 400 Swedish kronor for one night.Translating
Beautiful, peaceful campsite in the middle of the forest, with shady pitches by Lake Vänern. Very friendly host family, who also provide bread rolls and cake. Clean sanitary facilities.Translating
Wonderful site, partly shaded but still sunny. Very clean and well maintained. Nice hosts who also run an extremely cosy café on the site, with delicious cake. By bicycle, you can quickly reach Läckö Castle or Spiken on side roads. We would gladly come back!Translating
Wonderful campsite in the forest. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature. We could choose our pitch. Bread-roll service available. The attached café has incredibly delicious cake. There are also children's play equipment and a large meadow. The sanitary facilities are okay. We would come again!Translating
Spacious pitches. We enjoyed a beautiful walk over the rocks and through a magnificent forest. But the toilet block is really filthy. The shower drain is exceptionally dirty, does not drain, and clearly has not been cleaned for months.Translating
Very nice small campsite in the forest, only about 200 m from the lake. Friendly owners and delicious cake :-) We could also rent bicycles. We spontaneously stayed an extra night because we enjoyed the peace so much.Translating
A hidden gem in a beautiful location. Very clean sanitary facilities, though—as usual for Swedish campsites—there are too few of them. In the off-season, you can stay without booking in advance. Otherwise, reservations are recommended. Very nice café with homemade cakes and biscuits.Translating
We paid 400 SEK for the pitch and 55 for electricity. The pitch was rather small, and I understand something different by “beach.” Through the forest you reach a rocky shore, with a small overgrown sandy beach to the left of the forest. There is a swimming area right by the campsite. Nice place for one night.Translating
Very nice small campsite. Unfortunately, it was very muddy because of the weather. The owners are exceptionally friendly. Simply find an empty pitch, park, and tell reception which pitch you are on. We especially recommend the cake served at lunchtime; even local residents come here for coffee and cake.Translating
Not a place for bad or wet weather. We were unlucky and had very soft ground, with huge puddles everywhere on the pitches. You have to like the forest setting, as it is rather dark. The café and shop are lovingly decorated, and the cake and bread rolls are delicious. The facilities were okay. Unfortunately, the path to the beach is already very overgrown.Translating
Very nice campsite in the forest, relatively busy in the evening. The facilities are perfectly fine. We paid 480 SEK for two people, one Sprinter, and electricity. The cake there was delicious. Recommended.Translating
Friendly welcome, very nice campsite in the forest, right by the lake. Unfortunately, it rained a lot, so it was very muddy. Not recommended when Lidköping hosts its annual classic American car event. It can be unpleasantly loud here at night then.Translating
Beautiful site as described. Very friendly welcome at reception. We paid 400 SEK plus 80 for electricity for one night and had a double pitch with plenty of room for our camping chairs and so on. Wi-Fi was also okay. We would come again.Translating
A very beautiful small campsite beneath trees. Yes, there are only two showers with toilets, but there are additional toilets one door further, and everything is very clean. Wonderful nature and very friendly owners. We spontaneously extended our stay by one night to enjoy the delicious cakes in the café. If you are looking for camping rather than glamping, this is the place!Translating
Unfortunately, completely different from what we expected; despite having a booking, we left early. The café and reception were closed for two days, so we could not use the advertised bread-roll service either. The showers were not clean, the pitches were quite dark in the forest, and some were very muddy. The beach no longer exists, or is overgrown, and there are many mosquitoes. Very disappointing! Perhaps it is better in summer?Translating
Small-scale campsite. Good location close to the castle. We were the only guests in May, so it was completely peaceful. We spotted two moose near the campsite on the way there. Great night!Translating
