This is a lakeside bivouac with no services and a quiet night, although some traffic starts from 7am. The setting has attractive views but is affected by widespread rubbish, broken bottles, bonfires, and neglected roads. The lake water is polluted, and the access road is in poor condition but passable for a motorhome when driven carefully.

Beautiful place, a dam near Naro, a small Sicilian village. Unfortunately, the beauty of the place clashes with the neglect and abandonment it is in. Dirt, plastic, and garbage everywhere. Roads poorly maintained. The lake water is polluted. I went for a kayak trip, but as soon as I entered the water, the dam staff told me to get out. My poor Sicily.
