Unnamed Road, 790 91, Idre
Been here?
This is an exceptionally quiet, spacious place at the end of a now easily passable gravel road, with a lake and small stream nearby. The surface is generally good and level, although some loose gravel requires slow driving, and motorhomes have room to turn. There are no facilities or walking trails, fishing is prohibited, and swimming is difficult. A firepit has been rebuilt.

This place is absolutely underrated! The road is very good and level, with some loose gravel, so drive slowly. I rebuilt the neglected fire pit. If you want peace and plenty of open space, this is a hidden gem. Motorhomes have enough room to turn around. Negatives: No shade over the parking area around midday. No access to the water; everything around the lake and stream is swampy. Still a top spot!
Beautiful, quiet spot at the end of an increasingly passable graded road. View of a small lake; fishing is prohibited. No walking trails nearby. No facilities, such as a dry toilet. Good for a peaceful afternoon and overnight stay.
Currently accessible only with an off-road vehicle. Deep potholes and large stones on the road. The road is not finished. Otherwise, surely a great location for a suitable vehicle.
