HAFSTEN RESORT

Nice campsite. It is situated in a remote location on a narrow road, which is not ideal when vehicles meet. Large, spacious campsite with many hills. The campsite offers many activities, but everything costs extra. Even the pool waterslide costs extra per day, and you get only four minutes of shower time included. Accommodation is expensive, at a minimum of about 800 kroner per night, which is the cheapest option, plus all activities.

Expensive and overcrowded. We ended up 1 km from the actual campsite, next to a horse paddock, with reception and the nearest service building 500 m away; that too was overcrowded. The beach was over 1 km away. Absolutely not worth the money.

Huge campsite with pitches, cabins, and a few EV-friendly spots. Expensive (!), and most activities cost extra. Heated pools (waterslide is an extra fee) and many sunbeds, 3 playgrounds (that we found), 2 beaches perfect for crabbing, and alot of rental equipment. Cleanish facilities. Avoid pitch 107 with caravans, and check pitch suitability before booking! Our kids loved it, so we might return.

Positive: Lots of activities. Clean sanitary facilities. Friendly reception. Good hiking opportunities. Negative: The ACSI book said €27 per night, but we were charged €30 per night. The assigned pitch was very noisy because of the neighbours. Extras must be paid for, even the pool slide. Only one four-minute shower per day is free. If the second person also wants a hot shower, it must be paid for.

Very nice place for families. Excellent, clean sanitary facilities, with a separate area especially for families with children. Everything you need is available. Unfortunately, the grocery shop was already closed, otherwise five stars!

Unfortunately, there was not much going on anymore, so we could not use all the facilities. The pool was still open, there are hiking trails nearby, and the site is generally beautifully laid out. Unfortunately, a road and a car park run between the pitches and the water area.

Very nice, and the pool was genuinely very warm. The pizzeria had only two pizzas to choose from, while the campsite restaurant was very expensive. For two adults and two children, dinner came to €150 in total.

We spent three lovely days here, immediately after the Swedish holidays, so it was relatively quiet among the remaining guests. The facilities were good and clean. The activities offered are appropriate for a four- or five-star campsite. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizzeria. Use of the pool slides was somewhat overpriced. There is a lovely disc-golf course in the forest, and it is excellent for hiking and fishing. We were satisfied and would return.

It was the most expensive campsite of our holiday, but you also get a lot for it, along with very friendly service. It is best to book online in advance. The campsite is on a terraced ridge, so there is a great view even from the middle. There are many activities for children: pool, slide, table tennis, canoe, kayak, pony riding, zip line and high ropes course.

Positive: clean facilities, many activities, restaurants, location at the lake/beach. Ongoing expansion, nice walking trails Negative: high density camping, limited facilities at peak season, far away, expensive considering most activities is extra, down to the big slide. overflow pitches is a field, yet facilities nearby. notes: pitch 533 very spacious, touristicly expensive, cashcow feeling.

Good location but expensive. Without a reservation, you stay 1 km from the campsite on a meadow. The sanitary facilities, polar landscape and beach are far too small for the number of people.

Very large campsite with resort-style facilities. Heated outdoor pool (water temperature 28 degrees). Restaurants and snack bar by the pool. In the off-season, from 8 September, it is almost empty because the Swedish school holidays have ended. Recommended.
