Døskelandslia camping

Three motorhome pitches, possibly with more space available, and plenty of room in the meadows for tents. Sanitary facilities are, as always, very basic, but at least you can wash dishes properly. Few pitches means few people, which is very pleasant. The road cannot be ignored, but it becomes noticeably quieter in the evening. Unfortunately, some people refill their toilet cassette directly in the kitchen sink. Unacceptable!!!

Unfortunately, it was not open and was also unreachable by phone. A few construction workers were putting up a new building, though, so hopefully it will reopen soon with new facilities.

A very simple campsite with a friendly owner. We were the only campers, although some cabins were occupied. The dog loved it and could roam freely. The sanitary facilities are clean but very old, and the shower cannot be locked; there is only a shower curtain. We had a very quiet stay and slept well.

A nice place in itself. Unfortunately, I did not meet anyone and could not reach anyone by phone either. There was no note saying whether it was even open. Apparently there were no other guests. The bins were overflowing. Since the Wi-Fi had no internet connection, I left again. What a shame. 3 stars because of the location.

Beautiful and peaceful campsite. We stayed for two nights. A nice stopover. Friendly and helpful young managers. There is a lovely walk if you leave the campsite turning left and then turn left again after about a kilometre. We will return when we are nearby.
