Fjord-view parking, narrow access

Very beautiful spot on the E10. Of course, traffic can be heard, but the beautiful distant view convinced us.

This is probably a good place to have a short rest along the road and the view wasn't bad but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, in summer, during the day it was noisy because it is close to a busy road. The access was also quite steep.

Flat, good surface and beautiful views. Five vans stayed overnight. We turned the vehicle around a little farther away so we could drive straight into the site and reverse out in the morning without maneuvering. However, the night was restless: traffic noise from the road was constant, and sheep with bells around their necks made noise all night. Not recommended for light sleepers.

Very beautiful spot with a great view. However, the bridge was clearly audible and access was somewhat narrow, but it was manageable with a 6-meter van.

Ok for a night. Awkward access and difficult to turn around for larger vehicles.

Anyone who can stay self-sufficiently can hardly go wrong here. We stayed alongside another motorhome, with a great view of the sunset and visits from a seal. Traffic on the bridge could occasionally be heard, but it did not bother us. We had a wonderful evening and a quiet night.

Slept here one night in mid-December all alone! Minimal snow on the ground, so driving down was easy. Not sure if it’s plowed in winter. Nice, quiet spot just below the road. Only heard a couple of trucks in the evening. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful spot. There were six vans here. The road is not very noisy, so you can sleep peacefully. The place is clean and free of litter!

We had a wonderfully quiet night here, directly beside the fjord with a view of the magnificent nature and the bridge. Even the sheep said “Good morning” to us early in the morning.

Great spot with a few level spaces fairly close to the road, but with a direct view of the fjord and bridge.

Skeleton of a dog or fox in the water. Relatively windy, but beautiful views of the mountains. It is okay, but you could also keep driving.

Good place for a picnic and/or overnight stay. The road is not very noisy. Suitable for two or three vehicles. Fishing spot when there is no wind.

We came to look at the place in early May, but there was a dead fox or dog in the water. It upset us greatly, so we drove on.

There is a decomposing dog on the shore! An absolutely terrible sight!

We stayed here alone for one night. Fantastic view, rugged mountains reflected in the water, and northern lights spread across the entire sky. So beautiful it is hard to imagine. You do not even know where to point the camera. For us, the best spot on the Lofoten Islands.

Close to the road, but because the cars drive above you, the noise is less noticeable. Easy to reach. Beautiful view.
