13 Strada Statale 26 della Valle d'Aosta, 11016, La Thuile
Been here?
Spacious wild parking area at the Col du Petit St Bernard on the Italian side, overlooking Lake Verney and the surrounding mountains. It is quiet and well suited to hiking, with toilets 1km away. The site is beside the ski lift station and a bar, but can be cold and very windy; the ground may become muddy in rainy weather.

Parking for several motorhomes of any size. It is behind the ski lift station, next to the bar. It may be muddy in rainy weather.Translating
Big space for several Motorhomes. Amazing views! We had a quiet night here.Translating
Great mountain views. A few parking spots along the road.Translating
It is a beautiful place with a unique view. It is very windy, making it very cold outside. Internet is rather poor. But it is a great place to relax and unwind.Translating
Very beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains. A fairly flat area next to the cable car. Be careful: it can be cold and windy up there at night, but the view is worth it.Translating
Grassy/gravel area with an extraordinary view of Lake Verney, crowned by the Alps. Always very busy; use it respectfully and do not hesitate to correct anyone behaving inappropriately in this excellent space that we are still allowed to enjoy.Translating
The best sleeping place I have ever had! There are almost always other campers here, and since you are right next to the cable-car station, it almost feels like a campsite. It is also quite quiet because the cable-car station shields it from the road. The cable car is not operating in summer, but there are several restaurants nearby where you can also eat pizza!Translating
Incredible views, a place full of motorhomes and vans, but we spent a peaceful night.Translating
One of the most beautiful places where I have slept in a camper. Pure outdoor living.Translating
Location with a stunning view of the small lake and Mont Blanc. Waste collection a short distance away on the French side. Service point 1 km away on the French side. It is best to arrive in the afternoon. Let’s keep it clean, especially those using vans without toilets, such as Californias, otherwise overnight stays may be prohibited here before long!Translating
Lovely spot with a view of the lake. It can sometimes be a little tight, but there is no road noise and it is quiet at night. Services on the French side are not far away, with our European coins.Translating
Parking place for the night with a superb view and no road noise. You must arrive before 6 p.m. if you want a view of the lake and mountains. For your rubbish, you can dispose of it on the French side by sorting your waste.Translating
Magnificent view of the lake and mountains.Translating
Slept very peacefully, partly level, not much activity. Unfortunately, it rained continuously.Translating
Beautiful view, easy access, likely to be very busy.Translating
Quiet and a superb view, with the possibility of taking beautiful hikes.Translating
Very beautiful viewpoint—quiet on weekdays from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Unfortunately, rubbish disposal is only available at the restaurant. Perfect bins on the French side after the border. Beware of foxes; under no circumstances leave a rubbish bag outside!Translating
Very peaceful, beautiful scenery. Note that the toilet is the one at the ski-lift departure station and is closed during the summer season. However, there is a bar-restaurant about one hundred metres away with toilets.Translating
Superb place, magnificent viewpoint. An exceptional site, unfortunately overrun with leisure vehicles.Translating
An elevated meadow for around ten campers. Very peaceful.Translating
