6 Avenue de Blida, 57000, Metz
Been here?
Free roadside parking for visiting Metz, with some spaces suitable for vehicles up to 7.5 m. The cathedral is about 15 minutes away on foot, mostly along the Moselle. It can be busy and noisy during the day, while nights are generally quieter, though the road and nearby railway remain audible. There are no services, and the ground may be slightly sloped.

Good parking option for visiting the city. Wide parking strip directly beside the road. We did not stay overnight.
Convenient parking for visiting the city center. The area is not particularly clean but seems peaceful. We stayed only during the day.
Ideal for a night, or daytime parking, to visit the city. We are 6m but some spaces big enough for longer vans. Gets busy during the day with locals parking. Some noise from the road but quiet at night. Earplugs are always useful in a city park up.
We only parked there to visit Metz. Nothing to complain about, perfect.
Free parking beside the road, fairly close to the city center. No services, peaceful night.
Spaces beside the road, not far from the railway line, so inevitably relatively noisy. Slight slope depending on the space, lit at night. That said, it is free and 15 minutes from the center. A very good compromise for visiting the city.
Everything was fine. We were able to park the 6 m motorhome easily.
Noisy during the day, but that didn't matter since I was visiting the city. I spent the night there, and then there were only three vehicles and it was very quiet. I was not bothered. And indeed, it is very close to the city center.
Free and close to the center, very noisy.
Very close to the center. Somewhat industrial area; we parked here during the day. I didn't want to stay overnight.
We were there this August and it serves its purpose for seeing the city. It does not seem very safe, but we had no problems. I would not stay overnight.
Perfect for a trip into the city. Staying overnight is certainly not quiet. Up to 7.5 m is possible in some places.
Used only as a daytime parking area. Directly beside a heavily trafficked road. Vehicles over 6.5 m will have difficulty because of shrubs or low-hanging branches from the frequently used chestnut trees. It was perfect for my purposes, but because of the noise I would not want to spend a night there.
Daytime parking that looks a little gloomy, but the vehicle stayed all day without any problems. Very close to the city. We did not stay overnight.
We parked for dinner intending to spend the night, but left shortly afterward. The parking area is not level, with dirt beneath the trees. Peripheral area with industrial sites and too many glances from passersby. Little lighting; we were also the only campers. We did not feel safe.
