Quiet mountain parking, no services

We came up here for a lunch stop on our way from Slovenia to Italy. Despite the searing heat, the shade provided a safe haven for us to have lunch and take a nap. This is also a starting point for some hikes up the mountain.

Superb, very peaceful place. Warning: do not go back down toward Gorenja Vas, as there are major roadworks on that route involving a complete road renovation.

Parked there for mountain biking. Looks like a great place to spend the night also. Really quiet, even during the day.

Stayed here one night. One other campervan stayed that night. Super quiet, with good mobile reception.

Very quiet during the week. We slept one night and stayed for much of the morning. Only one car came to park at 6 a.m.; nobody came afterward.

We had a very peaceful night, almost eerily so. We were alone. The first cars arrived from 6:00 a.m. No services. Please take your rubbish with you so that overnight stays are not prohibited.

Very nice, quiet place. Easy to reach.

Quiet spot, only some mushroom pickers came in the morning, one of them parked cca 10 cm from our van - I have no idea why as the place was huge and empty (only two vans were there with us). The way up is a bit challenging but if we could do it so can you. On the other hand we had no worries that the police would come check us as the way was really pretty up and far away from everything. Totally recommend, we loved it there.

Fantastic park up. Silent at night, no passing traffic on the top car park, we were the only van there. It's a bit of a trek to get there up and down small roads, but a beautiful drive.

10/10. Quiet spot, nice parking. Keep place clean for other campers who will discover beautiful Slovenija
