Been here?
This small legal bivouac area beside the Vilaine has a relatively flat, partly shaded car park, picnic tables, dry toilets and a drinking-water tap. It offers a beautiful river view and can accommodate a 6.50m motorhome easily. Daytime traffic, fishermen and frequent trains can disturb the quiet, while algae currently make the river unsuitable for swimming; approach via Cambree.

Very beautiful view over the Vilaine from the relatively flat, partly shaded little parking area. My 6.5-meter motorhome accessed it and parked easily without protruding onto the road. Nice picnic area. The dry toilets are accessible and there is a water point. There is also a view of the bridge used by trains, which you can inevitably hear a little. No traffic at night.
To get here, you have to go through Cambree.
On 31 August 2024: access was blocked by an accumulation of earth from Saint-Malo-de-Phily.
Great little spot, very quiet. Tables in the shade or sun, dry toilets, and a drinking-water tap. Very nice view over the Vilaine. Walking trails. Free 4G works well.
Very pleasant spot. Lots of traffic during the day, and fishermen may arrive early in the morning. Trains pass fairly often, which can be bothersome if you want peace and quiet.
The place is generally fine. However, officially only one motorhome can fit properly in the parking row, and the site is sloped. The river is not inviting for swimming because of heavy algae growth. It is nicely shaded in high temperatures, otherwise rather cool.
Great site for spending one or several nights. Beautiful view over the Vilaine!
Great! A lovely view, a quiet area with enough space for everyone, a parking area, a water point, some picnic tables, and spotless dry toilets. There is not necessarily a place nearby to attach bicycles beside the tents, but the tree trunks work very well!
