Campsite for 400 NOK including showers. Laundry costs 30 NOK (buy it at reception). Power supply depends on the pitch and is not ideal; a long cable or cable reel is useful. There is only one hose for wastewater and drinking water. The upper symbol seems to be the wastewater symbol; the red marking has peeled off. Friendly staff, uncomplicated check-in. Pitches are clearly marked.

In general a good camping spot, but keep in mind that the reception is only open for certain hours. Toilets and showers are included and clean; you get a keycard to use them. It is possible to wash dishes outside the bathhouse. Playground and soccer field for children, and much more—visit the website.

Camping in a very beautiful, peaceful location with very good pitches. The reception staff were not friendly at all. They only told us that the train station was 3.5 km away. No explanatory leaflet, no bus information, nothing. The clean-water hose was being used to clean the chemical toilet! A shame.

Spaciously laid out. At most half occupied. Cycle highway to Stavanger nearby (14 km). Sanitary facilities old but clean and adequate. You can hear the E39 in the background; we did not find it disturbing.

We spent one night here in a van. Recent, very clean and comfortable sanitary facilities. Very hot showers included. You can hear the road a little. Perfect for us.

Located near the E39. The motorhome pitches are on a meadow and neatly marked with concrete slabs. Clean sanitary facilities and hot water at no extra charge. Absolutely fine for one or two nights.

We stayed here for one night. Very large campsite. Sanitary facilities were okay.

Very quiet and well-equipped campsite. Well-grassed area for tents. Nice play area for children. Good location for visiting Stavanger.

Good campsite for an overnight stop before Stavanger. A camper and one night with two showers cost €38. Large pitches and very quiet. The man at reception simply does his job and helped us properly. We walked to Sandnes, about 35 minutes. Small town with a shopping centre and small centre.

Neat campsite; sanitary facilities accessible only with a campsite card. Immaculately clean. The 15 NOK shower is a bit short because you also have to wait for the hot water. The owner was a little grumpy on the first day, but fine on the second.

Open late in the year. We simply wrote to them that we were coming, and they left an access card for us. Facilities were fine but nothing special. I thought the price was high considering the facilities.

The shower cost 15 NOK and was cold because it was broken. Cooking costs 10 NOK. Although a little farther from the main road, traffic could still be heard continuously. Sleeping place was okay but nothing special. Fine as an emergency solution.

Showers are only for camping guests, so we drove on. Unfriendly staff.

This was our alternative because Ølberg Beach Camp was already closed. Easy check-in; after calling, we went to reception, and the staff were friendly. Showers cost 15 NOK for five minutes. Shower and toilet are accessible only with a card but are clean. Cooking costs extra. Washing dishes is free, with hot water and no problems. The road can be heard but is easy to tune out.

Avoid. The man at reception is particularly rude and aggressive. The place does not match the photos at all. Keep driving.

Okay campsite. Has the basics, nothing more. No fresh bread in the morning. Only one sink could be found with hot water. Toilet building seems relatively new. Lots of abandoned campers and caravans on the campsite.

Very friendly welcome. When we didn't like the assigned pitch, they gave us a new one without any fuss. Site, showers and toilets were all very clean.

It is not possible to use the showers without staying overnight—check-in and payment are required. Not really friendly; we were brushed off.

You are assigned a pitch; even though the huge site was almost empty, they placed us right next to others. Water can be filled in the middle of the site; we waited 20 minutes while our 100-litre tank slowly filled.

Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches. Large paid sanitary facilities. Washing machine okay, dryer average, but in Norway there is no other option for laundry than campsites.

Fine only if you are desperate for a campsite. Everything costs extra—showers, washing and drying—and you cannot even choose the wash cycle.

Please don’t park here, single-track road with very few passing places, making it hard for locals to get out when NC500ers can’t reverse :(
