Grogport is a peaceful roadside picnic place suitable for about two vans, with very little traffic and great views over Arran. It has picnic tables and bins, with a beach next to the parking area. Access is by a single-track road with marked passing places, and overnight stays have caused no problems.

Peaceful location with limited trash bins and seats for enjoying the view.
Beautiful park up for a couple of vans. Next to a beach with stunning views over to Arran. Handy picnic benches and bins. Leave no trace.

Really nice roadside parkup for our car/tent box. Lovely views over to Arran. Quiet road - not much traffic at all. Space for a couple of vehicles and nice wild camping as well.
We stayed last night, having arrived on the ferry at Claonaig. The single-track road down is perfect, with many well marked passing places. Excellent, quiet spot with a nearby beach. The water was crystal clear when I swam this morning.
