Friendly welcome, no shaded pitches, swimming pool not ready yet (I hope it will be by the end of the season), very clean showers and toilets, seven dogs present (including three energetic Staffords), wonderful peaceful dining/game/bar area, unpaved access road with a ford, but if you come with a 4x4, drive carefully and there is no problem. The owner does pass by the campers with a pickup, quad bike, tractor, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay with Nanette and Richard. Nanette warmly welcomed us along with the eight dogs. The pitch is lovely; there are toilets and showers, and our children had a great time with the trampoline and other play equipment. Everything has been designed with great attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Lovely place in the middle of nowhere, dirt road but easily passable for campers, cars, motorcycles and cyclists, just outside Portimão. Friendly owners, nice bar with pool table, etc. Dog-friendly, informal camper parking. We will definitely return to this beautiful place.

Super nice owners, amazing dogs, and place created like from an american movie. Highly recommend <3 We stayed for a week and would totally stay longer. Oh and I would forget - such a hot water in the showers!

The place in question does not have a service area for motorhomes. The site itself is not too bad, but it is isolated in the middle of nowhere, with a difficult dirt-road access. The owners showed little concern for the specific needs of motorhome travellers and even suggested that we empty waste into the river, saying that “it is customary”.

This place deserves 10 stars!!! Richard and Nanette are two such lovable and inspiring people. We had a wonderful evening in the bar <3 We will miss the six free-roaming dogs very much! It was a beautiful stay, very quiet and with very clean sanitary facilities! Clearly recommended! It is open again now. It was closed for two days because of problems with the water flow. These have now been resolved and we had a wonderful overnight stay. An incredibly cozy bar and such lovely hosts. Definitely recommended. It is also great for dogs, as they all run around freely and nobody makes an issue of it. Top place with lots of peace and quiet and very clean sanitary facilities.

Extremely quiet and comfortable place! Very clean, lightly scented sanitary facilities and always-hot water. Plenty of activities available! Don't hesitate if you're in the area!

We were traveling through Portugal and happened to be nearby when we saw this campsite with a pool. Richard and Nanette are very hospitable and have a lovely covered bar. They play pool here every evening. We spent hours there in the evenings, chatting pleasantly. And wouldn't you know it, I won the very first time I played pool?? Sanitary facilities and pool: a solid 10 out of 10!! Until next time! Or perhaps at our place on the tube?
