We went to sleep on the day we arrived in La Maddalena, a Wednesday night, and a large group of youngsters on mopeds gathered at 1 a.m. They parked right next to us, revving and racing past. It started raining and they left, but as soon as it stopped they returned, so we had to leave. I do not recommend it!✦Translating

Very beautiful island, with sublime beaches, accessible by ferry. Traffic and parking are very difficult with a motorhome. We found only this rather uninviting car park for spending the night. No shade, no bins. We had a good night despite young people deliberately riding past on scooters making a lot of noise; the police intervened quickly. Felt safe.✦Translating

It’s true: the car park is in full sun, and there is some dirt everywhere, but it is acceptable for one night. There were three or four campervans parked; the local police passed by but said nothing. A Conad supermarket is 50 metres away, along with a bakery that also serves as a bar and snack restaurant.✦Translating

The car park was completely empty, and we parked in the very last row, hidden by bushes, because we had read that there would be a market the next day and did not want to disturb anyone.
