17 Via Isuledda, 07024, La Maddalena
Been here?
This huge asphalt parking lot near the bridge is generally a peaceful overnight option, especially outside the Wednesday market. It is close to a supermarket and a bakery-bar, with a small rubbish bin and good 5G reception. The lot has no shade, and the surrounding island can be difficult to navigate or park with a motorhome. The ferry arrival makes it a convenient place for a first night on La Maddalena.

A little noise around 11 p.m. from people chatting; otherwise perfect.Translating
Since we arrived by ferry in the evening, we spent the night here. It was quiet and peaceful.Translating
Good night spot located near the bridge, perfect for cycling to Caprera. Quiet night, with a small bin available. Good 5G reception.Translating
We spent a very quiet night here. Since the island’s campsites are closed at this time of year and camping in nature is prohibited, it is a good compromise.Translating
Large car park with few people, which could be very good if young people on mopeds did not come at night to race around. They arrived at 11 p.m. and stayed until 1:30 a.m. We stayed; there were two campervans.Translating
We went to sleep on the day we arrived in La Maddalena, a Wednesday night, and a large group of youngsters on mopeds gathered at 1 a.m. They parked right next to us, revving and racing past. It started raining and they left, but as soon as it stopped they returned, so we had to leave. I do not recommend it!Translating
Very large paved parking area. Many campervans present, including at night. Recommended!Translating
Very large free car park, but it can be very noisy (cars driving past honking and two-wheelers having fun in the car park). Views over the water and close to a supermarket.Translating
Very beautiful island, with sublime beaches, accessible by ferry. Traffic and parking are very difficult with a motorhome. We found only this rather uninviting car park for spending the night. No shade, no bins. We had a good night despite young people deliberately riding past on scooters making a lot of noise; the police intervened quickly. Felt safe.Translating
It’s true: the car park is in full sun, and there is some dirt everywhere, but it is acceptable for one night. There were three or four campervans parked; the local police passed by but said nothing. A Conad supermarket is 50 metres away, along with a bakery that also serves as a bar and snack restaurant.Translating
Noisy, not much shade, littered, but it does the job.Translating
We were here at the end of April and wanted to spend the night. The car park was completely empty, and we parked in the very last row, hidden by bushes, because we had read that there would be a market the next day and did not want to disturb anyone. We were just about to go to sleep when a car arrived and stopped exactly behind us. This seemed strange, so we drove away.Translating
One of the few places where you can spend a night on the island. Fine out of season.Translating
Quiet place, nothing special, convenient for spending the night since many places do not allow you to stay.Translating
Excellent free car park, with a supermarket nearby.Translating
Good for one night. Enough space. Quiet. We stayed overnight with a few others. It takes 40 minutes to walk into town; the beginning of the route is not particularly attractive, especially at night. Supermarket right around the corner with a toilet. We felt safe.Translating
