3 Fyrmästaregatan, 231 42, Trelleborg
Been here?
A 24-hour parking area conveniently located for the ferry and within walking distance of the town centre. It is practical for waiting for a crossing, but traffic, ferry operations and passing people can make it noisy. Public toilets and showers are about 400m away, although recent reports found access and payment arrangements inconsistent. Parking payment can be handled through the Aimo app or locally available options.

Excellent location for boarding the ferries. We spent a quiet night, slept without any noise, and were close to the centre. I recommend it.
i'm a heavy sleeper, so the noice didnt affect me as much. couldnt find the bathroom or showers. Train station is near by but the bathroom asks for coins, no credit card unfortunately. but at least u can use euro coins
The parking app downloaded easily and worked immediately with a German credit card.
Staying here to be close to the ferry the next day was a major mistake. It was terribly noisy; trucks thundered across the ferry terminal until late at night! And we are really not sensitive to noise. However, it is quite good for visiting the city.
Last good night before the ferry to Sweden. The app with the credit card stored worked perfectly. I cannot say anything negative about the noise. When I sleep, I hear and see nothing ;-)
It was very quiet and peaceful for a port. I was able to download the parking app easily, and it also worked without Swish!
It is really terrible. On our trip through Scandinavia, this is now the fifth or sixth app we have had to download for parking: “Aimo.” The worst thing is that hardly any German credit cards are accepted; only the third card worked with the app. Once everything is finally set up in the app and you want to pay, it also requires registration for the “Swish” app.
As already written, it is rather unsuitable for an overnight stay; we will not put up our rooftop tent. It might be okay with a camper. The toilets were already closed at 6 p.m., which was really inconvenient. But just a few minutes’ walk past the railway station, there are very clean toilets and a shower that can be paid for by card (toilet: 5 kronor).
We stayed here for a few hours while waiting for our ferry. We paid with the app. The parking area is great for exploring the city centre, just a few minutes’ walk away. I would not want to spend the night here.
If you are not very sensitive to noise, this is an inexpensive place to wait for the ferry. However, there is quite a lot of traffic. The ferry terminal is on one side and the road on the other.
Okay for one night if you wait for ferry, cheap (120 crowns per 24 hours), noisy, people passing by all the time. At least no smell of sewage:)
The parking area is practical if you are taking the ferry early in the morning. As has been mentioned several times, it is very noisy. The toilet was closed when we were there. We bought the ticket at the machine because it would have been slightly more expensive through the app and, of course, registration is required. Put in earplugs and it is absolutely fine.
Good proximity to the ferry port and easy payment by credit card. Certainly good for waiting for the ferry and also close to the city. But absolutely not recommended for overnight stays. It is truly unbearably noisy due to traffic to and from the ferries passing directly by the parking area. It is better to park on the right side and as far back as possible; then the building blocks some of the noise.
Good place. Good price. No unpleasant smell. So everything was fine. Only a note on the windshield saying “CARAVAN VANDALISM – no German tanks in Sweden – Tyskar – Go Home” when we returned from dinner dampened the mood somewhat. We were only here to go home again. ;-)
Reasonably priced and conveniently close to the ferry terminal. However, that also makes it relatively noisy, until about 11 p.m. and then again from around 4 a.m. Ideally, use a well-insulated vehicle or earplugs.
We arrived from the ferry from Rostock at 10:30 p.m. and there were still many spaces available. Payment at the machine was easy. We slept well; the noise was limited. Ferry traffic resumed around 6 a.m., but we were aware of that. Ideal and reasonably priced for an overnight stay before or after the ferry crossing.
I did not feel comfortable here and moved on. However, it is well suited to larger, self-sufficient motorhomes; in a small bus you feel trapped because some spaces are small parking bays. Easy card payment at the machine (120 SEK/24 hours).
