394 Avenue de Savoie, 73590, Flumet
Been here?
Private car park by a lake, with overnight stays tolerated only for vans; it is narrow in places and quiet after 6pm beside a river. Parking costs 2€ during the day until 16h, with daytime toilets, a water point and garbage cans. The lake is not visible from the parking area, but it is accessible on foot, as is the village of Flumet, uphill. Swimming is currently prohibited because of bacteria, while a children’s playground is nearby.

Very nice place to spend the night; do not hesitate to go a little farther than the parking area, onto the grass. Unfortunately, swimming has been prohibited this year since July 22 because of bacteria.
The place is very quiet, green, along a river and close to a lake, which cannot be seen from the parking area. Unfortunately there is no view because the spot is bordered by tall trees in a narrow valley. As we came during a quiet period, we eventually went to the spot on the D71A, above Crest-Voland, which we preferred considerably.
Great spot for the night and a bonus of swimming in the lake.
A gem. Please be respectful. This is not a campsite or your home. Avoid putting tables and chairs outside, or arriving noisily at 11 p.m. There is a bar beside the lake, so leave a few euros in a village that treats us very well. Besides, it is not expensive. A gem. Please be respectful. Avoid camping, cooking outside, etc.
Good spot, with the sound of the river lulling us to sleep. Parking costs €2 during the day only, until 4 p.m. A relatively clean toilet with a water point opposite the tennis court.
Great. Very good pizza at the Shamrock.
Great place, far enough from the road and very quiet. Nobody charged us for the pitch from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. A beautiful descent, but nothing difficult in a van. Thanks P4N!
