Beach parking, narrow for large vehicles

We stayed here for one night. Great place. Many people walking their dogs pass by in the morning and evening, but nobody looked at us strangely. Great view from the dunes. Very late at night, a second motorhome joined us.✦Translating

Wonderful free place behind the dunes. We were there with two other campers. The beach is fantastic, and when we were there not a single person was around. Take your rubbish with you and keep the place clean.✦Translating

We were almost alone in summer and it was completely fine, there are a couple of houses but the parking lot was still empty and there was plenty of space available for our 23-foot-long motorhome, it is above grit and mostly sunny but it is flat and it is completely free of charge. It was very quiet and not too windy. It was safe. There is also a small path that leads to the dunes and the beaches.

Great parking area for going to the beach. There were almost no people. The section was beautiful. Since wild camping is generally prohibited in Denmark, please do not take advantage of this.✦Translating

Well, if motorhomes did not spread out as if they owned the world and a 10-metre campsite pitch, eight cars could easily fit without disturbing one another. Nice place! We drove on. A Norwegian motorhome the size of a coach and another very large one parked across the spaces, blocking at least 15 parking places, including the table and chairs. The residents shook their heads, and so did I. The place would be beautiful if campers behaved more considerately.✦Translating

If you have a bus or van and park normally rather than sideways, no problem for one night. With huge Sprinters or motorhomes parked sideways across the parking levels, the police will logically be called. Holiday-home area. Parking area for swimming. No garden furniture, camping, or holidays. Sleeping in a car or bus for one night hardly bothers anyone. Motorhomes do not belong here.✦Translating

The beach is beautiful. However, the “parking area” is very close to several houses and lies directly on the evening dog-walking route. Shortly after parking, the first couple gave me a strange look, and soon afterwards a resident politely asked me to move on with my van. Conclusion: unsuitable for overnight stays, but nice for visiting the beach, which is also beautiful at the next car park to the north.✦Translating
