This is a large, wooded parking area beside Glassworks Pond, where motorhomes are tolerated and overnight stays are generally quiet. A walking route leads around the lake, with two rustic beer gardens nearby and a barbecue area across the water. Local activity can increase later in the day, especially at weekends. Mobile phone and internet reception are poor.

Great setting, very wooded and very quiet, with walks possible around the lake. Ideal with a dog. Many spaces.
Quiet and relaxing place. Easy to access. A short 15-minute walk around the lake. No problems during our overnight stay.
Hello, unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. No internet or phone reception, couples meeting until late at night. In addition, young people drank in the parking area with loud music. We moved at 2 a.m. to the alternative parking area nearby. Shame, as the previous comments had raised high expectations.
The parking lot cannot be reached because of road closures due to roadworks.
Wonderful, peaceful place with no prohibition signs; we had a quiet, good night here. There are plenty of bins, so use them—it would be a shame for this place to become littered. Anglers and dog walkers came in the morning, and nobody objected to us being there. Many thanks to the municipality!
nice location in the forest, good access road. there are two parkings, one next to the restaurant and one closer to the lake. very quiet in general, several cars came and went during the night though. many people walking their dogs in the morning. no cell service.
Perfect for an overnight stop while passing through, only 4 km from the motorway. Nevertheless, incredibly quiet. We were here at the end of July, but it was raining. We were probably almost the only ones in the parking area because of that. The pond apparently belongs to a fishing club, but we did not see a 'No swimming' sign anywhere. Highly recommended!
Ideal place for walking and spending the night, but we prefer wilder locations.
Beautiful natural spot with an inn and a lovely trail around the pond. It was actually peaceful in the evening, but last night young people started playing loud music and then did acceleration races and drifting. So we drove on. O2 internet reception is very poor.
Lots of space. There are woods and a pond for walking the dog and letting it dip its paws. The area was quiet all evening and morning. There are benches, tables, and streetlights. The only problem was that at 3:20 a.m. I was awakened by a motorcyclist who stayed for 40 minutes. Five minutes after he left, a car arrived at the same spot to do donuts before leaving.
