It has shaded areas, occasional low branches and mobile coverage, but recent comments report no bathrooms or trash can. The site is quiet at night, with some daytime cars and soft sand near the river beach.

Perfect, nothing more is needed.
Absolutely top! Not a single soul on the banks of the Tagus last night! Just nature, as we like it.
This is the perfect wild camping. I don’t understand the last comment- if you park where you look like you need help, it’s kind for people to ask! Anyway, we went down river and found a private spot. Fisherman enjoy the river. A family stopped to walk. There are no bathrooms. No trash can. Dumpsters were emptied. Weeds were cut. Thanks to whomever maintains this, may we all do our part!
I have only been parked here for a day and a half (Wednesday and Thursday). It has been raining. I am beside the road, not obstructing it, and I parked so I could see which cars were coming and whether any came by more than once; if someone keeps going back and forth, it is time to move. A man in a long grey car came to knock on the door of my motorhome, asking if everything was all right. I did not open it and rudely replied, “YES!! I’M FED UP!!” :/
