Roadside parking, peaceful nights

An absolutely excellent place to stay during the low season, at least! We stayed here for three nights and had no problems whatsoever. There is room for all kinds of motorhomes and camper vans. The only negative is that there is no easily accessible shower or toilet. Apart from that, a great place!✦Translating

Absolutely wonderful spot, also suitable for large motorhomes. We spent three wonderfully peaceful nights here. A fine sandy beach is directly adjacent on the right, and on the left, stairs lead into the beautiful little town center within five minutes, with lots of restaurants, winding streets, and so on. Recommended outside the high season: the spaces on the street are free, wide enough, and there is little risk of being hit by the rare passing vehicles. No services, but a magnificent view of Stromboli! A good alternative to the very expensive parking area or campsite located at the foot of the sanctuary. We spent an excellent night here. The historic center and shops are five minutes away via the stairs.✦Translating

Great free park up during the day and night. Although on the road it’s one way plus not a lot of traffic. Walk up lots of steps to town which is really nice or stroll along the beach. We have 6 metre motor home and it was fine and stayed within the lines.

Magnificent parking area for spending a peaceful night. During the day, quite a few locals stop on the benches opposite. Be careful to park on the correct side. There are no lines, so long motorhomes can park.✦Translating

We spent one peaceful night here. Parking is right on the road, but the slow cars passing by didn't bother us. We also left our van here while exploring the area, and nothing happened. It seems safe.

This parking spot is truly beautiful and peaceful. You can hear the sea, and it is 500 meters from the historic center. Recommended.✦Translating

Free parking, level and very close to the beach. The police passed by a couple of times to check that everything was in order. Close to the stairs leading up to the center!✦Translating

From Lido Calypso to Lido Tropical there are many free parking spaces with white lines. We arrived this evening and, despite it being August, found plenty of free parking because there was a storm during the evening. We will spend the night here.✦Translating
