120 Riksveg 888, 9740, Lebesby
Been here?
A terraced panoramic parking area with space for about 6-8 motorhomes and magnificent views over the sea and Laksefjord. Several hiking routes begin here, including a coastal circular walk of about 5kms. The walk is steep in places and can be difficult after rain, while wind, mosquitoes and flies may be troublesome. There are no services.

An absolute dream spot with a fantastic panoramic view of the sea. We spent a wonderfully peaceful night here and enjoyed the sunset. The Lebesbystien hiking trail starts directly at the pitch and leads to a varied coastal hike with great views. Perfect for anyone who loves nature, peace and exercise. Also a beautiful place with a dog.
A lovely spot with a really nice circular hike around the beach and back, not for the faint hearted especially if it’s been raining (quite steep in places) and also the shale has fallen away in places down by the rocks. Beautiful scenery to watch the midnight sun and a really nice feel to the place which appears clean with a bin ?
Beautiful place to sleep, walk and enjoy the view! I stayed here twice; very nice!
Superb view from the place for several vehicles and a lovely circular hiking trail of about 5 km. Just beware of the wind!
Trick question: What happens to the view when you only look at white walls? Exactly. Here it looks like a campsite. Space for 6–8 motorhomes? Ridiculous. To top it all off, there was a large brown pile (not from a dog) on the way to the beach. A fine example of how inconsiderate behavior ruins everything.
Terraced site for around 6–8 motorhomes with an invaluable panoramic view of the Laksefjord and the midnight sun, when it appears. The pitches are reasonably level. No services—just a panoramic parking spot. Be prepared for mosquitoes and flies.
Still just as beautiful even five years later. We did not find the solitude we had five years ago, but we were able to chat with various very charming people. In short, a place that once again captured our hearts!
I have been here often and it is always beautiful.
Quiet night with four motorhomes. Only rubbish bins, no toilet, but plenty of views. Lorry traffic is slightly disturbing. Various hiking trails, 2–5 km long, start here; signs are provided.
Beautiful view. Small parking area, where it would be best not to exceed three vehicles. Other possibilities are down below or behind it. And avoid parking right in the middle as one van is doing at the moment—deplorable, uncivic-minded behavior.
If you are self-sufficient, this is a beautiful spot for watching the midnight sun. Starting point for various hikes.
In clear weather there is a magnificent wide view. Many hiking opportunities.
