Canal parking, night-time noise

A canal-side parking area close to shops and Lidl, with no parking prohibition and overnight stays possible. It is easy to reach, but the surfaces are slightly sloping and the area has no shade. Traffic and activity are heavier during the day, while evenings can be quiet, although loud music and conversation were reported near one van from 22:00 through the night.

I had a nice flat spot, and I’m grateful for anywhere to discreetly stay in the Netherlands. Perfectly placed to drive around admiring the tulips this time of year. Unfortunately from 10pm there was lots of activity through the night- men playing loud music and talking loudly right near my van, despite being the only vehicle there. I’m sure they were harmless but it wasn’t a restful sleep.
Easy to reach, no prohibition, we spent a night with two other campers. It is residential aerea, not suitable for long stay. we arrived late and left early, had a quiet night. Thx to community.
The spaces are sloped, so it is not ideal for sleeping there… what a shame.

Great place for the night; boats may also moor here. Busy during the day, quiet in the evening. No shade, Lidl within walking distance right outside.
Parking slightly sloped, but leveling blocks are not necessary, and using them would in any case be frowned upon.
