This is street parking in a residential area, 500 metres from the beach and 2 km from the city centre. Parking is paid at 1,50 per hour, with spaces for vehicles up to 6 metres 30, and it is free from 20 to 9. The location is convenient for the beach and Monte Igueldo, but recent stays reported attempted theft and stolen belongings, so caution is essential.

Careful—we had our belongings stolen from our rental van. I strongly advise against this parking area.
Well located, but be careful: on a Saturday afternoon, while we were at the beach, someone attempted to break into our van. Small front window broken, etc.
We arrived and found one free place, but after going down the road and just around the bend, there are roadside paid spaces, maximum 6.3 meters, €1.50 per hour and free from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. The beach is beside the road, the town is at the end of the bay, and there is a supermarket on the right. We slept here even though it was a little sloped.
Perfect for exploring Monte Igueldo. We parked here during the day without any problems. For the old town, the site was a little too far away for us.
Ok to visit the beach.
The official motorhome site was full, so we looked for an alternative for one night. A great starting point for strolling along the beach and through San Sebastián. Relatively quiet; traffic only starts in the morning. Parking fees (€3.70 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., free on Sundays) are perfectly reasonable.
