Unnamed Road, 2052, Cernier
Been here?
Scenic clearing near Vue-des-Alpes pass with a superb view over the Alps and Lake Neuchâtel, popular with locals for BBQs and dog walks. Picnic tables and fire pits, no water, bins or toilets. Some road noise passes by, mostly manageable but busy on summer weekends when parking fills and quiet fades. Access road may be restricted to forestry/agricultural vehicles. Police have moved on campers setting up in daytime; treat as overnight-only.

Dreamlike sunrise and sunset.
Beautiful place, but on a sunny All Saints’ weekend, dozens of cars passed until 11:30 p.m., and the next morning locals arrived by car, bicycle or on foot for a day outdoors from 8:30 a.m. By 10:00 a.m., the car parks were full. Goodbye tranquility.
Directly beside a small road that, despite its size, has relatively heavy traffic from morning to evening. The view is beautiful.
Great spot next to a little road. Great view. There are bathrooms at vue des alpes parking about 1.4km away. In the early morning some cars passing by. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent, very quiet spot accessible via a small paved road opposite the large parking area at the pass. You park along the road and it is almost flat. Incredible view. It is possible to make a fire. A curious little fox kept us company.
Very cozy and quiet place; we had a peaceful night.
Wonderful spot with the gentle sound of cowbells in the distance and a panoramic view of Lake Neuchâtel. Wooden tables are available. The parking area is not level, but it is not a problem.
Not completely flat. Very beautiful view of the lake. Two or three cars pass by, but it is not bothersome.
Very beautiful place. Very nice view. Not very level. Close to the road. Very busy on weekends. 4G okay.
Beautiful pitch with an unobstructed view of Lake Neuchâtel, a picnic table and a barbecue area. I spent one night there. Along the road there is some traffic, but it is acceptable. It was lovely to see that a fox has its little routine here; it posed for a photo and stayed 4–5 m from me, hoping I would give it something. Watch your food! ;)
