This area is wonderful. It has tables, shade, lots and lots of shade, and plenty of parking. You can also swim in the river without any problem, right in front of the Frías bridge, with beautiful views. It is true that overnight stays are not allowed, but I went to the paid area and it was very good.
It is an amazing place, but you cannot sleep here. What I do is sleep in the Frías parking area farther up, then come down here to spend the day, with shade and the river right beside it!
You cannot sleep here. There are signs prohibiting camping and overnight stays, as well as parking from midnight to 8 a.m. The Guardia Civil passes frequently and issues fines.
