Been here?
A level, paved parking area at the Gustav Adolf Monument, with no services. It is useful for visiting the nearby museum, zoo, and climbing park, and the site is lit with bins available. Parking costs 1€/1/2 Stunde, with no daily rate; it is free between 18 and 8 Uhr. The adjacent main road can be very noisy until late at night.

The site is level and paved. What put me off were the parking fees: €1 per half hour, with no possibility of a daily rate. You can stay there between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m., but for a subsequent visit to the zoo it is simply too expensive. So it may be fine for one night with an early departure, but doesn't that defeat the purpose if you cannot visit the zoo?
Nice little parking area. Unfortunately, it is directly on the main road, which remains busy and very noisy late into the night. We did not have a restful night. If you want to visit the animal park during the day with your child, you will face outrageous prices. Completely overpriced parking, admission to the animal park, and inside you even have to pay extra for the toilets per person. Shocking!!!!
Very nice parking area. We all stayed there for one night. We had a very quiet night. We would come again. :)
Clean and illuminated.
Great for passing through, as it is near the motorway, about 4 km away. The parking area is lit and bins are available. Relatively quiet at night despite the road beside the parking area. Museum and animal park right next door.
Lit parking area with a “motorhome additional sign” not far from the A9. Relatively level parking spaces, but quite a lot of traffic noise at night because the parking area is directly beside a road. …more than okay for one night.
Free parking area from 6:01 p.m. to 7:59 a.m. A few reckless drivers pass by occasionally, but otherwise a hidden gem. A petrol station is not far away and the A9 is also quickly accessible. There is a museum next door, currently still under construction, and a small animal park. We will definitely come again sometime.
