A free overnight stop at a beekeeping farm in a quiet village, with views across the Douro Region and valley. Pitches are peaceful, spacious and generally flat, with water, shade, pet access and barbecues available. Guests can visit the apiary, learn about beekeeping and taste or buy farm honey and other products. Access is narrow and difficult in places, especially for longer vehicles.

Very pleasant welcome and wonderful products. Pure happiness. Thank you to the family for welcoming us overnight. Best of luck.
A charming family, a privileged location; we slept wonderfully under a beautiful starry sky and with excellent temperatures despite the hot days. We brought some honey, which they let us taste, and almonds. Electricity and drinking-water refills are available. We are from Asturias and give five stars to this wonderful place and such a lovely family!
For self-sufficient motorhomes, including those up to 8 metres, this is a dream spot! Nice people, a superb view and peace and quiet. And don't forget!!! Taste and buy some honey.
Simply fantastic. We arrived without warning and nobody was there, but we had no problem contacting them, and they explained everything for spending the night. The next morning they gave us a talk and we had a very pleasant day with them. We bought several of their excellent products to support them, since the stay is free. Without a doubt, if we return to the area, we will come back!
A very calm and pleasant place with a lovely view of the mountains. The pitches are a good size and flat. Laura, the owner, gave us a wonderful welcome. She taught us a lot about beekeeping. We were able to taste her excellent honey and bought several jars. I recommend it.
Very pleasant welcome, beautiful natural setting and farm products. Too bad there is no dump station.
Beautiful, peaceful place. It is rather difficult to enter when coming from below. We did not see the owners in the evening, as they were still busy working. We bought delicious honey the next day.
What a beautiful place. The view is amazing. Nice pitches have been created for campers on the farm. Laura is very kind and it is wonderfully peaceful here. The only disadvantage is that the entrance is somewhat difficult and narrow, but we managed perfectly well. It is not suitable for longer campers.
very kind couple with a lovely bee shop, we had a tasting, never tasted as much honey, never knew it could have such flavors!! It was so lovely :) The products that they sell are amazing. Apart from the honey i also really recommend their homemade honey soap. The entry with a long van was a little bit difficult but manageable . Thank you!!
Great place to stay! Very quiet and the views on the hills are amazing. Had a lovely honey tasting and learned a lot about the bees. Laura and her partner are very kind and made us feel very welcome. If you are looking for a place to unwind and tranquility… this is the place to go. Place is probably a bit too tight for big motorhomes, but we were there with a 6m campervan and that’s perfect.
Laura is very kind and welcoming. She speaks French well and her honey is delicious. Thank you.
Fantastic! A quiet spot, well located for visiting the Douro Valley. Very friendly owners. We also bought their honey-based products, which they make themselves.
Wonderful. A very peaceful stay. They gave us honey tastings and showed us how everything is made. Super friendly—a place to return to, definitely. 100% recommended. By the way, the honey is delicious.
Very nice hosts. Recommend to check if there is space before getting there. We only parked there for the night (didn't ask for water/different service). You must visit the store. We've got some interesting explanations on the bees and the family's business, and also bought good honey and propolis.
Laura and Victor are friendly and welcoming people. The view is breathtaking, and after a long journey you can completely relax here. You can look at the bees and buy local products in the shop. Highly recommended! If we are in the area, we will definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality :-)
The farm run by Laura and Victor offers several flat pitches. We spent three nights there on both the outbound and return journeys between Porto, peacefully away from the motorway. The access looks intimidating at first to a novice, but it is manageable with a 6-metre van. A warm welcome awaits at the end of the road. Buying delicious honey, especially heather honey, and olive oil is a must.
We loved our visit to Apibericos! Laura is very welcoming and friendly. My partner had the bee keepers experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are local artisan products to buy alongside the many different types of honey, all very reasonably priced. I would say that entry to the parking spaces was tight for our 7.5m van but we did it. I would definitely recommend Apibericos.
Laura and Vitor are very welcoming and friendly. The best stop of our trip. It is a very peaceful place with a beautiful view over the valley. Access may be difficult for large motorhomes because the road is narrow. No problem for our Boxer van. If we pass through the area again, we will return.
Very nice people and incredibly delicious honey. The surrounding nature is breathtaking. If you like peace and quiet, this is the right place.
Beautiful, peaceful and above all quiet little spot. Friendly owners. You can stay for free, with no facilities. Nice little shop selling their homemade honey and some other products. Recommended. If we are in the area, we would be happy to return.
A very beautiful and welcoming place with very friendly hosts who offer the opportunity to discover the world of beekeeping. We highly recommend it! Thank you, Vitor and Laura.
A very special family business producing honey. I was allowed to stay overnight for free, although having your own toilet is essential, and the next morning I was given a tour and heard wonderful stories about bees. I bought a lot of honey and wish Laura and her husband a golden, sweet future.
Definitely visit and buy honey—fantastic! The delicious dinner will also stay in our memories.
Incredibly beautiful, peaceful place! Thank you for three nights, café con miel, and so much hospitality! Laura was incredibly helpful and is a wonderful person. I am travelling on again with honey in my luggage and lovely memories. THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️
We spent two nights here and left with more than 4 kg of honey, coffee, wine... Isolated location, perfect for us. There is a short walk to the viewpoint.
Laura and Victor gave us a warm welcome. We were able to approach the hives in protective suits and tour the honey-making process. The honey tasting was DELICIOUS, with many varieties, and related products were also for sale. We left with jars of honey for the whole family. Take a break in authentic Portugal, far from the crowds... Nathalie and Patrick
A lovely peaceful place with views over the valley and vineyards. It was a little tight reversing in with a 7.4-metre motorhome, but worth the effort. Many thanks for the hospitality.
Thank you very much for your welcome. We loved the tasting and all the explanations about production and the work around the hives. We highly recommend it.
We spent an evening at the beekeeper's place and had a great time. A person passionate about their work and nature. We visited the workshop and tasted the different honeys. Wonderful scenery and a change of atmosphere.
The honey tasting and buying were wonderful. Nice hosts. Honey could be paid for in cash or by bank transfer.
Wonderful family run business with beautiful views, great hosts and nice site to park. Water available and a lovely and varied shop selling amazing honeys, creams, chocolates and beekeeping equipment. Really interesting stop and a wonderful experience with passionate, talented beekeepers. Track up a bit cobbled but trust your sat nav and you will be rewarded when you arrive. Amazing spot.
A warm welcome and a tour of the honey-making facility with honey tasting!
A superb welcome from this lovely family of beekeepers. Space for four vans. It is lost in the sublime Portuguese countryside. Highly poetic ❤️ And the honey is absolutely divine. Not far away, the Mateus Palace is also well worth visiting.
Everything is perfect. Laura and her family gave us a warm welcome, with a tour and tasting of their excellent honey. I highly recommend it.
