Shady parking, harbour noise

Great! The very well-maintained park is inviting for a walk, and in good weather there are plenty of seats or loungers to relax on. It was a very quiet night.

Very beautiful park, with walking and cycling. Seven kilometers from the new port, all on a cycle path. Many walkers during the day; from 8 p.m. it is very quiet.

For overnight stays: So much for quiet—the nearby major harbor area, with its ship, container, and transshipment terminals, makes noise all night. The port of Bremerhaven is an industrial transshipment hub that never sleeps. Nighttime noise comes from ship traffic, cargo-handling facilities, shunting work by freight trains, cranes, and truck transport. It cannot be avoided, so this is not suitable for people sensitive to noise.

Here you will find a shady, very beautiful, level spot that is very quiet. The adjacent park is truly lovely and invites you to do more than just walk. No service facilities, but excellent relaxation.

Tip: Wursterstrasse is now one-way, so you cannot easily reach the parking area. It is best to approach via Braunsberger Strasse. The parking area is in a beautiful park where you can take a nice walk. No facilities, but there are bins in the park.

We stayed here for one night. Nice, clean spot; no more construction workers, though it was somewhat muddy after rain. One point deducted because of noise from young people; otherwise very quiet. Ideal for dogs, as there is a dog park right next to it.

Very nicely located parking area by a park, ideal with a dog. We had a very quiet night. The motorhome spaces were occupied by cars, but there was enough space behind them for us, especially since we were the only motorhome in the ice and snow. Many thanks to the city for this great spot!

Free, quiet overnight parking in a park—what more could a camper want? There are no service facilities, but real motorhome drivers know how to manage. On October 20, 2025, construction materials were unfortunately stored here, so the night ended at 7:30 a.m.

Actually a very beautiful and quiet place, but construction materials are currently being stored here and small excavators start early in the morning. Local drug dealers have left rubbish, but are otherwise harmless. A very lovely park for walks. Many thanks to the city!

Lots of space, free, and quiet.

Okay for a short parking period; we only had coffee and then drove on. The place was too dirty, otherwise it is green.

Everything has already been said. Free parking by the park. In principle, it could be wonderfully quiet. Very muddy in the rain. Strange that the parking area is used for practicing driving skills—doing donuts and drifting. It was only brief, although you only know that afterward, but it unfortunately spoiled the stay somewhat.

Great spot, very quiet, a beautiful park, and free as well. If you do not need a toilet, this is the perfect place for one night.
