Been here?
Huge daytime parking offers views of the sea on one side and Porto on the other, with the beach nearby. Overnight stays are prohibited, and previous overnight users received a 120€ police fine. The area is spacious and suitable for a daytime break.

Very pleasant place. Plenty of space to take a break or spend the day. The beach is very beautiful.Translating
Lovely spot with a large parking area and a magnificent sunset. We only stayed for dinner; given the reviews, we didn't want to risk a fine, so we slept farther away in a small parking area.Translating
Warning! We were woken at 8:30 a.m. by the police with a €120 fine. Nice place, but it's not worth it!Translating
Same thing: €120 first thing in the morning, paid in cash; ATM 3 km away! No signs or barriers beforehand prohibiting parking at the site—ideal for making money off tourists. I consider this organized theft. The municipal police officers were unpleasant, impossible to talk to, and treated us like criminals! First bad experience of this kind in Portugal.Translating
Woken at 8 a.m. by our neighbors (thanks to them!) so we could leave quickly. We narrowly avoided a fine: a large police operation had been set up!Translating
POLICE FINE! They came on a Saturday, August 20 at 8am with a 120eur fine for illegal overnight. They said it is not a parking lot and it is apparently partially private :(
FINE!! Today at 8:00 a.m. the police wished us good morning with a major operation, blocking all exits and going door to door asking for documents in order to issue a €120 fine for spending the night in an undeveloped landscaped area.Translating
Superb parking area with plenty of spaces. A few spots along the ocean, a meadow for 30 or 40 motorhomes, and above that a huge parking area with views of the ocean and the Douro estuary. A camper's dream!Translating
Highly recommended place, quiet and spacious, with sea views. Beach a 2-minute walk away and a great promenade with bars. The center is 10 minutes by car. Quite a few trash bins and campers. You can spend the night without any problems. The only downside is that you can hear planes passing, but it isn't very bothersome.Translating
Very large, flat parking area with easy access and spectacular ocean views. We had a quiet night and it is also very convenient for visiting the city; with Uber it costs €7 each way.Translating
Good place to sleep. There are no facilities, but if you are self-sufficient it is ideal for spending the night. Sea views and a sunset to admire. Small, but you can hear the planes; it isn't too bothersome and lets you sleep. If there were water facilities, it would be perfect.Translating
Nice spot but too crowded for our taste. Ideal place for visiting Porto. Some young people came to party until around 1 a.m. Very nice view.Translating
Perfect place with spectacular views of the city and sea, with the beach within walking distance. Garbage service; the place is very clean. We arrived late at night but felt safe because there were other campers and motorhomes spending the night. Quiet, beautiful, and pleasant location. I was here 10 years ago and we found it just as I remembered.Translating
Lots of space for many campers. We spent a quiet night. We didn't hear any noise from the airport. Recommended!Translating
Great view. Quite a few people around, which is reassuring. The airport is next door, so it is a little noisy. Bike path to Porto. Beach below.Translating
Very large area, not very clean. A little noise from young people talking, but nothing serious. Really excellent place, with bicycles allowing you to follow the waterfront to the city center. Overall, a very good spot for day and night!Translating
Ideal place with more vans around, spacious enough for parking, and very beautiful sea views. Quiet spot. It has a garbage disposal point, but no water fountain.Translating
Great spot for sleeping, with the sound of the waves. Very quiet. Trash bins on site.Translating
Excellent! Quiet and clean parking area by the sea.Translating
Excellent! Ocean view; we arrived just in time for sunset and had a very peaceful night.Translating
If the non-self-sufficient campers didn't leave their waste in the bushes along the roadside, the place would be even nicer. It is outrageous not even to take the toilet paper with them. If the town bans overnight stays here, we know who is to blame.Translating
Perfect for visiting Porto! We spent two nights here and set off directly by bicycle from the parking area, which connects to the cycle paths and the beach just below! Very beautiful view of the Douro estuary!
Quiet despite people coming to watch the sunset. We stayed three nights and it was excellent. Also no mosquitoes, which is appreciated. Incredible sunset. It is better than the parking area a little farther down, which is very overcrowded. There are recycling containers.
Excellent for visiting Porto, next to the cycle path and close to bus stops. A fantastic view for spending the night.
Beautiful view of the sea and the city. The area is large and planted with small trees. By bicycle, you can reach the city in 15 minutes. Unfortunately, there are no toilets or showers nearby, and parts of the area are somewhat littered.
