27 Osterwicker Straße, 48727, Billerbeck
Been here?
A municipal motorhome area beside the swimming pool, close to Billerbeck’s historic town centre and useful for cycling trips. During the bathing season, the site fee includes pool admission, with showers and toilets available; from October through April, parking and overnight stays are free. Water, electricity and waste disposal are provided, and waste disposal is free. In the off-season, long-term campers can occupy many spaces.

Simple site, but very practical because the swimming pool, showers, and toilets can be used free of charge. We went swimming before breakfast, with the water heated to 23 degrees. We will come again.
Well-planned site, but it lacks the finishing touches. Only functional, nothing more.
It is a very beautiful place. Unfortunately, the people at the campsite are very unfriendly. I will certainly never come here again. Municipality, here is a tip for you: put up good signs with the rules so everything is clear to everyone. There are too many captains on this campsite. A shame for such a beautiful place.
The pitch is perfect as a starting point for various cycling tours. It offers everything you might need: water and waste disposal, electricity points, and rubbish disposal. In summer, when the outdoor pool is open, you can swim for free because it is included in the pitch price. You can also use the pool's toilets and showers. The nearest discount supermarket is about 1 km away.
Great pitch, excellent water and waste facilities. Thanks to the town of Billerbeck for this service!
Close to town, so you can walk around the small town. Free parking and overnight stays from October to the end of April. During the outdoor pool season, admission is included in the pitch fee.
Free in the low season, and waste disposal is also free. Fresh water and electricity available for a fee. Quiet location! Thanks to the town!
Free from October to April. Waste disposal also costs nothing. We stayed here for one night only. Very quiet and spacious pitches.
Fresh water from €0.10, electricity billing very fair, good fries, quiet and beautiful, and great for cycling. We will come again!!!
We spent a relaxing night here in a very peaceful atmosphere. Electricity and water/waste disposal available. Many thanks to the town for this great service. We come from Düsseldorf, where the town does not offer anything like this!
The site is not particularly beautiful, but it serves its purpose. We took some very nice cycling tours, including to Münster, about 30 km away. At the weekend all pitches were occupied, plus eight motorhomes parked next door. We saw other sites in the area; they charged a fee and were hardly occupied.
It looked great, perfect for the town. However, in low season, because it's free, it's full of long-term campers by the look of it. There's not a chance of a pitch. We reluctantly drove on.
Free from October to April. Swimming pool open from May to September. Excellent site for visiting the town.
Quiet place with free parking. Electricity pillar works perfectly. The swimming pool is currently closed, so showers and toilets cannot be used in the off-season. Thanks to the municipality for making this camper site available free of charge. Good Wi-Fi connection.
We stayed here for one night while passing through. A fine place for one or more nights. For €10, excluding electricity, you can stay overnight and use, among other things, the swimming pool and shower. Showers are unavailable when school swimming lessons are taking place. Shops are nearby, as is the village, where there is plenty to see, including a beautiful cathedral.
Used as an overnight stop on the way to Holland. Quiet, with everything you need. Practically free if you use the swimming pool. The town is very nice to look at, and there are enough restaurants.
A nice little pitch for 10 motorhomes directly beside the outdoor pool. The €10 pitch fee includes admission to the outdoor pool. We enjoyed the schnitzel in the bistro. Water and waste facilities are okay.
Unfortunately, we could not access the camper site on April 10 either. According to the town hall, this will remain the case until the end of April. We were offered the car park at Kolvenburg (beware of school traffic) and at the sports centre (Helker Berg) as alternatives. Both are free. We chose the farm at Gantweg 4, about 1.5 km from the centre.
