Castle Vildstejn

Lovely pitch with services included in the price: electricity, waste disposal, and fresh water, for 390 CZK. Very quiet night during the holidays, apart from a few barking dogs. We had a good meal at the castle restaurant. Toilets available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

A lovely place right in the middle of things. We spent two quiet nights here, although it can occasionally be somewhat noisy; at night, you only hear the frogs croaking. A good starting point for a bicycle tour to Františkovy Lázně and walks in the forest. There is also a selection of restaurants; anyone who likes hearty food will be well catered for. We would gladly return.

Nice place with complete facilities and beautiful surroundings. We arrived by chance during a festival, so we also got music and beer.

Actually a very nice place. Delicious food in the castle. Quiet in the evening and at night. However, from around 6:00 a.m. on weekdays, there is a constant coming and going of cars, slamming doors, dog walkers, barking dogs, rearranging rubbish bins, traffic on the small but apparently important road, and other activity.

A very beautiful place, with free overnight stays; using water, electricity, and disposal costs €16. Parking directly at the castle in front of a small pond. Be sure to visit the castle restaurant—beautiful, good food, and very friendly staff. Not far from Soos and its bog. Recommended!

Very nice spot. Also for larger RVs in the area nearer the water supply.

After passing several poor areas, we arrived here, and it was wonderful. For €16, everything is included; access is easy and it is very quiet. The water works here even in December, so you can fill and empty tanks and use the toilet facilities. Payment is made in the restaurant.

A beautiful, quiet place directly in front of the castle. Inside there is a rustic restaurant with good cuisine. Excellent for spending the night.

Brand-new motorhome area with water, electricity, toilets, and grey-water disposal. Delicious and affordable food in the associated restaurant in the ruins. You must also report there to pay: 390 CZK per night. The Wi-Fi password was not provided. I asked for it while paying, but it was incorrect. The restaurant toilets are available, but the restaurant does not open until 11:00.

We opened a completely new motorhome area for Easter. You are warmly invited—come and enjoy the surroundings, beauty, and experiential services of the oldest castle in the Czech Republic to the fullest. Everything you need is available.

Wonderful place, thoughtfully designed by the owners. New parking spaces for caravans with plenty of camping room, including space to extend an awning. The price of 390 CZK includes 24-hour parking, electricity, and disposal of grey and black water. The site is between a pond and the castle. Complete peace at night. We can only recommend it.
