4 Alameda Carvalha, 6100-730, Sertã
Been here?
A free, flat and calm parking place where overnight stays are possible beneath trees. It has impressive views over a river and a Roman bridge, with wooden tables beside the river for eating. There are no services, and passing pedestrians can sometimes create noise.

Very peaceful place; there were only a couple of other caravans, under the trees, with spectacular views of a river and a Roman bridge. We had breakfast at wooden tables beside the river—a highly recommended spot.
As very heavy rain was forecast and the river was already in flood, we decided not to spend the night here, just as a precaution. It is nevertheless a beautiful place to spend the night in other conditions.
Okay for one night, also because Sertã does not really have any alternatives. The town is too beautiful to simply drive through, so we put up with the noise of passing pedestrians. No services.
