Lakeside parking, weekend crowds

Very beautiful area surrounded by nature with a view of the lake. There are shelters with tables and fire pits. You can also swim in the lake. The area is fairly flat.

Beautifully arranged rest area by the lake with a brand-new bathing jetty. The coordinates given in the description lead to a private site in the neighboring area. Search for Salakas Beach on Google or use this address: Ežero g. 14, Salakas, LT-32217 Zarasai, Lithuania.

Nice place to stay, there are 5 parking spots with benches and tables, basketball court, all of this near by the lake. As others mentioned it is busy place on weekends, but we had great time afterall.

Great place by the lake. There are tables, shelters, and fire pits. You can swim and fish. However, it is very busy on weekends, with tourists camping in tents. There are not many spaces. In the nearby town there is a stone church with a parking area. If you cannot find a place, you can wait here.

Quiet and dark, perfect for the night. The lake is beautiful and invites for a refreshing swim. Beach also nice for kids. Picnic area, separate parking bays, hiking path with observation tower. Only downside: a lot of insects. The bloodsuckers are manageable with repellent but flies and wasps are not impressed.

Men stood on the site talking until 11:30 p.m. The night was quiet. The dry toilet was unusable, yuck. Otherwise, a lovely quiet place to stay.

Very relaxing place. Locals came to swim during the day, then it was empty in the evening. We could not find out whether or how payment was required, but nobody seemed to care either.

Dreamlike spot in the forest by the lake. It is signposted as a campsite. You are supposed to pay €1.35 per night by SMS. We would gladly have paid for such a beautiful place, but the phone number provided did not work.
