The perfect place, but for some time there has been a lot of antisocial behavior by some undesirable users, precisely those who stay permanently to live in the area. Voices at all hours, incessant barking, dogs loose all day and even at night, relieving themselves everywhere. They should make it paid, like in Viladrau.

A quiet place until nightfall in summer; lots of shouting and commotion right beside and inside the area. Otherwise fine.

Large, very decent area, undergoing improvements this coming week, I suppose that is why the showers were not operating and there were no containers either. Otherwise very peaceful, well levelled, and you can set everything up without any problem. It is close to the town.

The area will be completely closed from Monday 6 July 2026 until Sunday 12 July 2026 for improvement works.

Excellent motorhome area that I have been visiting for years. It has barbecues, toilets and electricity for only €3. The welcome is always friendly. As an improvement, the bathrooms and camping area need more maintenance; today they are very neglected because of the vegetation. Otherwise, everything is excellent. Quiet area in beautiful surroundings. Clean water and grey-water disposal, toilet, and electricity for €3. We stayed on Saint John's Day and slept peacefully and comfortably. Next to the municipal swimming pool, with the village within walking distance. We will definitely return!

An extraordinary place to spend a few peaceful days. Some people leave negative comments simply to annoy others. Clearly, everyone must be respectful and show some civic sense, but for me this is a spectacular area, with wonderful people, both those passing through and regular visitors. The locals are marvelous. A 10 out of 10 for me. Thanks to the town council.

Because of the recent negative reviews and a complaint call about loud music to the police by a nearby apartment dweller this past weekend, the police came by to say that the area will close permanently soon (undefined). It will be closed in 1-2 weeks for a motocross tournament. Please be mindful of the effect of your negative reviews and refrain from playing loud music or leaving trash behind.

We were there very early this morning and everything was very quiet and clean. Everyone I spoke to was very proper and polite. The area has various hiking trails, one of which leads to a picnic area with barbecues and stone tables beneath a leafy forest. We will return to spend the night.

This area has deteriorated quite a lot. Some people stay for long periods, with motorhomes and a car parked beside them. There is even a caravan. There is a lot of dog mess, so you have to watch where you step. A shame, because the surroundings are beautiful.

I have been coming sporadically to this area for many years. Everything was perfect, and thanks to the town council for the service. Until recently it deteriorated to the point that it is now worse than a campsite. People living here all year-round—no problem for me if they behave. Vans playing music all day. Parasols, barbecues, the toilet terrible. People in the parked vans relieving themselves outside.

The area is large but neglected. The bathroom has been completely full of shit for a long time. The town council does not send anyone to clean it despite constant complaints.

San Hilari Sacalm motorhome area: grey-water disposal, water, toilet and electricity for €3. Shower at the sports center for €2. They should clean the toilet; everything else is perfect. We will return another day. Friendly people and a great village.

I have come several times and the stay has been phenomenal. The village is quiet and has services, the hikes are beautiful and the surroundings charming. This May holiday weekend was disappointing. People camping like a circus, taking space from others, barbecues everywhere, music at full volume, loose dogs—and I will not even mention the toilet. San Hilari town council, make it paid and impose a maximum stay; everyone benefits.

Very large area, quiet, free grey-water and fresh-water disposal, free toilets accessed with a QR code. Not very clean because some people unfortunately do not respect the facilities. All shops in the village, perfect. Many thanks to the municipality for this free area reserved for motorhome users.

It could be a beautiful place, but the many dogs running loose all day are extremely annoying. Some strange people hang around here. The nearby swimming pool is very good and the staff are friendly. The village is not worth seeing. The police patrol the area regularly. Many thanks to the municipality for a free parking area.

It is a spacious area, with overnight stays and services free, and paid electricity. We saw some permanent residents, peaceful but with the space poorly maintained. We stayed one day and it was fine, but we would not stay longer. There are some nice, easy excursions through the forest. The village itself is not really worth visiting.

Free, fortunately, because there is little sign of the promised facilities, and when there are any, using them is far too complicated. The few free electrical sockets that are present and working are occupied by permanent residents. A walk to the center is not really worthwhile either. A few little shops, that's it. But it is free!

Closer to a campsite than a motorhome area. Between the caravans, tents and long-term squatters, it is not very pleasant. The town is not really worth visiting. It is free, admittedly, but really only suitable as a backup option.

One of the best we've been to. Services are working perfectly. The space is huge and looks like a massive campsite, yet it's still peaceful. Beautiful location. Numerous trails to explore!

It is a very child-friendly place, and eventually they will install lights practically everywhere.

The lack of education, discipline and basic decency among the cars coming to the sports center, concerts or activities held there is simply shameful. They park right beside you, behind you, make noise, shout, do not respect people's rest, and even park on the water-loading and dumping area. Otherwise it is a top area. We appreciate the police coming to monitor it; it gives a sense of security.

The area is very good and has all services available. Electricity is paid, and there is a sports center next door with a heated swimming pool. I recommend it.

A spacious, quiet place; only the wet sand sticks to your feet. Otherwise fine, with 6A electricity for €3, which is a little limited—if using reversible air conditioning, you have to choose between that and the fridge. Dogs roaming around, unfortunately. Thanks to the municipality for this huge and affordable place.

Great place. Really huge. There were maybe 10 motorhomes. Quiet. Electricity is 6A for 3€/8h. This is a bit limiting if you have a heater. We used it for 16h. It was very rainy so it gets very muddy. The water filling looks ok. Relatively clean. Too bad some people leave their dogs lose and they can poop everywhere or jump on people. Also some normal cars pass by there and are a bit noisy.

We spent a very peaceful night. It is a huge area, and despite there being around 30 or 40 motorhomes, it was very quiet and spacious. The village is also highly recommended. Many nearby routes to explore. A great choice, many thanks to the village.

We stayed here twice during our trip. Everything was just as we wanted. The morning walk into town to the bakery is not too far either. Thank you to the town for providing this place.
