This is paid roadside parking near the old city, reachable on foot in about 15 minutes and suitable for a 6.5m van. The latest reported price was 1 € for 4 hours. It is useful during the day but can be very noisy at night, and a vehicle was recently broken into.

In February, we paid €1 for 4 hours. It is about a 15-minute walk to the old town.
Do not park here. We were here for a couple of hours while we had supper in the old town before catching the ferry. When we returned we found that one of our rear windows had been smashed and two rucksacks stolen. Very sad way to be leaving Italy
Good for to visit the old city.
