Unnamed Road, 11430, Gruissan
Been here?
A restricted daytime parking area beside the beach, where overnight stays are not possible in high season. The entrance barrier is marked at 1.90m, although one van that normally passes 1.90m barriers could not enter. Parking on the sand is blocked or unsafe because some areas are soft, and the available spaces are limited by posts.

The barrier is marked at 1.90 m, yet it was impossible to pass with our van, which normally gets through all 1.90 m barriers without any problem.Translating
1.90 m limit!! We often came here in the low season with our two children. The place was always clean and quiet, with no squatters or music, just people enjoying the beauty of the area. Now we cannot even park here during the day, even in November!! It is terrible because we can no longer access nature. We will not come to Gruissan anymore. I hope this changes.Translating
Our T5 just barely fits under the left barrier. Parking directly next to the beach. Parking on the sand is not possible; this area is blocked off with stones.Translating
New for 2024: - Maximum height 1.90 m - Posts now delimit a small parking area, considerably reducing parking space. You can no longer park anywhere on the beach! There were a few vans here on July 13, but in the small parking area we quickly ended up packed together. With our small T2 campervan, we were still able to spend a night here, but for how long?Translating
Height limit is more like 2.20 m. We spent a good night here, though it was a little windy.Translating
Great spot, quiet. There were three vans. We had a great night.Translating
Incredible place, full of people. I stayed here in summer 2019.Translating
A dream place. You can park your car directly on the beach and sleep there, but cars only because the height limit is two meters. No toilets or water, but Intermarché is an eight-minute walk away. In October, with the Indian summer warmth, it is paradise for Robinson Crusoes.Translating
The beach remains accessible, but the authorities came to explain that we were not allowed to sleep there and moved everyone on when evening came. Beware, 2 m bar. Unfortunately, this spot has fallen victim to its own success.Translating
We just spent the night there in a van, very quiet. Beware, 2 m barrier.Translating
Beach permanently closed to parking.Translating
Beautiful place with a view of the sea! 2 m barrier. At night there was very loud music for about five minutes, no idea where it came from. Busy parking area during the day, quiet at night!Translating
