River Camp Morača

Our earlier honest review was deleted, so we are posting our experience again. During our stay, we got the impression that a lot of emphasis was placed on leaving a positive review. We did not appreciate that. We hope all guests can share their experience freely and honestly, both positively and critically.✦Translating

A hidden gem! Tiny riverside campsite with immaculate, perfectly trimmed grass and spotless sanitary facilities. The owner is one of the kindest, most helpful people we’ve met, and his boat tours on Skadar Lake are spectacular. We’d give 10 stars if we could! The owner is very hospitable and helps with anything you might need. The pitches are large enough for our 720 cm motorhome with overcab bed. We were allowed to go boating with the owner for a small fee and saw very beautiful places. Well worth it. If we come back to the area, we would gladly stay here again.✦Translating

Very friendly owner who even says good night in the evening before going home. €20 for the first night and €15 from the second night. Boat trips can be booked. Do not arrive too late if you want a place by the water. The site is not very large, but it is very family-friendly. There is access to the river for swimming. Sanitary facilities are fine and practical.✦Translating

Excellent location right by the river, where you can stay for only 20€ per night for the motorhome and all guests. The owner is friendly, communicative and helpful-everything can be arranged and agreed upon. A special highlight is the possibility of taking a boat trip along the river, which is a truly wonderful experience.The sanitary facilities are very clean. We definitely recommend it.

We can agree with the comments. Small campsite with good access to the water. Washing machine available. The owner, Zârko, takes wonderful care of us and does everything possible to make his guests happy. Small campsite with 12 pitches, very well maintained and very clean. Easy access for large motorhomes (7–8 m) to the grassy pitches. Water, electricity, shower, and toilet. No possibility of emptying black or grey water. Very friendly owner who listens to his guests. €20 for the first night, then €15 for subsequent nights. Boat trip possible for €20 per two people. Our favourite stay on this trip. It was so perfect,the owner Zarko made us feel so welcome going out of his way to ensure we were enjoying our trip as much as possible, even taking us out on a boat-trip down the river at sunset which was beautiful and went to the shops to get us anything we needed and picked us up fish bait! Beautiful place to stay and a beautiful family who runs it! Thanks, Luka!

A real hidden gem! €35 for two nights for four of us in a motorhome. Zarko is a lovely man who makes you feel really welcome and goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. We will definitely be retuning at the end of our Montenegro trip. Never felt so welcome somewhere!
