A vacant lot on the outskirts of Odeceixe, 50 meters from the town and 3 km from the beach, currently affected by an engineering project. Recent reports describe earthmoving, machinery, dust and difficulty turning around, with work beginning early in the morning. There are no services, and stopping may currently be impossible.

It now appears to be part of an engineering project involving moving earth. There was no possibility of finding anywhere to stop, we had difficulty turning round.
Quiet place. Currently a construction area, but there is no noise until early morning, when the workers start arriving. No problem for spending the night.
I gave this place a go because I was nervous about sleeping up near Odeceixe beach (getting in trouble). I found this place completely fine. Quiet, in a fairly natural setting, very little traffic, no noise in the morning on a weekday. I can’t comment on the safety of the place, I felt fine however. Plenty of toilet paper on the sides (PICK IT UP & TAKE IT WITH YOU!) not that hard
We spent the night there in a camper, from Friday to Saturday, and it was fine; nobody bothered us. The place is very dusty, but it is fine for one night. I think there is construction during the week, so I do not recommend it then.
It is an open lot next to some construction work, very dusty and isolated. We decided not to sleep here.
I slept there just one night. Very quiet. There are no services or bathroom, but it was perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. There is construction machinery, but there was no activity at the site.
Not recommended at all nowadays. Perhaps it will be better once the construction is finished. It is full of machinery.
