Camping Royan is a family campsite with spacious, relatively flat pitches, although it is currently still undergoing work. A pitch for two adults, a van and electricity was 27€, while another recent rate was 40€ for one night. Toilets and showers are clean, and the welcome is warm. The adjacent road has continuous vehicle traffic that can be unpleasant; the original description also mentions a heated pool and children's playground.

May 16, 2026. Spacious and relatively flat pitch. Clean toilet and shower. €27 for a pitch for two adults, one van, and electricity included. The constant traffic on the adjacent road is rather unpleasant, though... Warm welcome.
The campsite is still under construction... reception was okay. Hopefully the work will soon be finished, to justify the stars. €27.

Campsite closed as of April 10; we were informed by a very unpleasant person at the entrance.
We arrived in the late afternoon without a reservation and were offered three spacious pitches separated by hedges, from which we could choose. Pleasant staff, swimming pool and restaurant on site, various activities. Clean sanitary facilities. €42 with electricity for one van and two people. Campsite a little far from the center. Our pitch was close to the road, so it was a little noisy.
They do not take reservations; a very unpleasant person on the phone.
€23 for a four-star campsite with every comfort, good sanitary facilities, and a heated pool. You just need bicycles to get to the town center!
