Been here?
This clean, recently renovated picnic area beside the Var has several flat, shaded parking spaces, a waterfall and facilities including tables, swings, table tennis and boules. The river itself is not accessible. The tap may be unusable or only drip slowly, so it should not be relied on for filling water. A train and some cars may pass, but nights are generally quiet.

After eight weeks in Italy and Sicily via a beautiful mountain route, we arrived here. What peace and quiet, apart from the lovely sound of rushing water. The first thing that stands out is how clean it is. So we will make sure to keep it clean. It is a shame that we cannot reach the river.
Pleasant spot for an overnight stop on our route. Clean, but do not count on the tap for filling up with water.
We arrived here early in the evening and spent one night. We really liked the place: it was very pleasant to eat in front of the river and wake up there as well. A train passed on the opposite side during the evening, along with a few cars, but nothing too troublesome. Nice picnic area and newly developed pétanque courts. We recommend it!
Not a particularly glamorous place, but very quiet for the night with a large parking area. The tap at the playground only trickles.
Nice shady picnic area . Brand new - tables, swings, table tennis table, boules court, fresh water. Plenty of easy parking space.
The place has been completely renovated. Wonderful to stay here. Picnic area with freely accessible fresh water. Everything is clean and you are surrounded by nature. Please keep everything clean!
Recently completely developed site, as mentioned in the previous comments about the works. Located along the Var River, with a beautiful waterfall nearby. Wonderful place to spend the night, with no restrictions. Thanks to the municipality for this lovely area, and thanks to users for keeping this magnificent place clean. I cannot add more photos to showcase it.
The area is now completely under construction for redevelopment and is no longer of any interest.
Quiet place with no vehicle traffic; very good for one night as a backup. The spot was very muddy, but it was accessible slightly to the left. I felt safe and slept well.
We arrived at night and the waterfall was overflowing slightly onto the path, creating mud. We were afraid of getting stuck, so we went a little farther. It was much less attractive because of the amount of rubbish, but very quiet.
The large parking area is currently being used as a storage depot by companies, and beneath the trees the waterfall has flooded the area. It is no longer the paradise it once was.
