A quiet parking area beside the Waal, with views of the water, passing boats and nearby sandy beaches. Beautiful walks and cycling routes start here, with the Oortjeshekken restaurant nearby, but there are no rubbish bins. Overnight stays are now prohibited and can result in a 180€ fine.

Excellent location for staying overnight. It is noticeable that there are accounts actively and systematically posting the same negative reviews about all public places in the region, always dated February or March, concerning fines and being sent away. This does not match reality. I have been coming to some places for years. Pay particular attention to reviews from campers who were actually there during the season.
A beautiful, quiet place to stay. There are no trash bins, so please take everything with you.
Overnight stays are no longer permitted! Due to too much nuisance, it is now forbidden and you can receive a €180 fine without warning, so stay away.

What peace and quiet. Beautiful view and a wonderful base for walking and cycling through the Ooijpolder or to Nijmegen. Also nice and close to Oortjeshekken for a delicious lunch or dinner, or simply a beer or glass of wine. Enforcement officers came by in the morning, but otherwise we were not questioned.
Nice spot, quiet night, and watching the boats when you wake up. A shame about the remains of picnics. There is also a large steaming pile of cow manure mixed with straw in the parking lot, but fortunately it did not smell too strongly yet. Starting point for beautiful walks, and the cozy Oortjeshekken restaurant within walking distance is highly recommended. They also serve a delicious breakfast.

Right on the Waal. Wonderfully peaceful and beautiful to watch the passing ships. There is a small beach below.
Quiet, almost flat spot with a view of the Waal. Not suitable for very long campers.
Spent a couple quiet nights here, nice little sandy beach and view of the water. Constant barges going past didn’t bother us at all. Quick walk to hotel/restaurant up the road for a few beers
