Waterside parking, sloped surface

One of the most beautiful pitches, surrounded by water on both sides, where you can simply enjoy the view. Visitors regularly come by until sunset to enjoy the view too, but this did not bother us at all. At night it is peaceful, allowing you to fully enjoy the special atmosphere.✦Translating

Very nice parking area with a wonderful sunrise. We arrived with our van in the early morning hours, but despite the nearby road we slept excellently. The only drawback is the lack of a toilet.✦Translating

Drive to the end of the dead-end section of Oostvaardersdijk for a beautiful place to sleep. Hardly any noise from the main road farther away, and water on three sides. At most, a few cars come to enjoy the sunset.✦Translating

Good spot for an overnight stay, the view in the morning is gorgeous. It is right next to the road but noise wasn't an issue. There were several other campers. In the morning people arrive to take photos of birds.

We spent a very quiet night here with five other campers :) You can hear the sea, but otherwise it is very quiet!✦Translating

Beautiful free parking area directly by the water. We did not find the road disruptive. The only disadvantage is that in strong wind and rain it is very loud inside the motorhome, especially when sleeping. It would surely be quieter behind the dike.✦Translating

Barrier to wider parking on right hand side currently (30/04/2025) secured in up position and so many vehicles using in the day and better for campervans/motorhomes overnight as no parking markings and further from road - some litter about but hopefully from car occupants only.✦Translating

We spent a quiet night there. No prohibitory signs. Directly by the water. In the evening there were several cars and people watching the wonderful sunset. Unfortunately, these people leave a lot of rubbish. It is probably only a matter of time before overnight stays are prohibited there. It is a shame that such a great hotspot is left this way.

Spent a quiet night here. Apart from the windy sea, nothing can be heard. I was here with another camper.✦Translating

Beautiful place, but no rubbish bins. Many people coming and going, but it became quiet after 10 p.m. Slept wonderfully and even slept in until 11. It seems to be a meeting place for men, but that does not bother you. We will definitely return.✦Translating

Nice to have an open view of the sea and a lovely sunset, but the parking is very close to the road. The road kept me awake. Maybe it would not bother some people. When you enter the area, the right side is blocked by a barrier. Only the parking on the left is open.✦Translating

We slept here for one night during the week. There are some cars during sunset, but everyone leaves again after 10 p.m. The car noise does not bother me, although I had a fan running. The police did not wake me during the night either. There are unfortunately many mosquitoes during sunset, so keep windows and doors closed!✦Translating

Beautiful place and starting point for a walk (1.5 km round trip) to the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower atop this old volcano. The place is quiet. No rubbish bins and very steep, but even in winter the ground is firm. Very quiet from Friday to Saturday with little traffic. It may be different when the Nürburgring is open. Recommended!
