4 Route de la Courance, 44600, Saint-Nazaire
Been here?
A quiet, mostly flat parking area in a residential setting, about 100 m from the beach. It has no services, and the surface includes some holes and potholes. The nearby road can be noticeable, while the beach and coastal paths are easily reached on foot.

This parking area is not suitable for motorhomes. The positive point is that the beach is 100 m away.
Quiet, level parking area, a few meters from the beach and convenient for visiting Pornichet by bicycle. We did not feel that we were causing any disturbance, even though we were there on a Sunday. Be careful: there are some holes and potholes.
Excellent spot. Level, and if it is not too full, suitable for vans of any size. Across the road, a path leads to a wonderful beach where dogs are allowed after September 15. I did not spend the night because I only stopped for lunch, but I took a tremendous nap without any disturbance.
Very good place to spend one night. A little exposed to the road but peaceful, with very easy access to the beach. The only drawback was the truck that empties the bottle container early in the morning!
A good place to spend one or even two nights. Although it is in a residential area, it is only about 100 m from a very beautiful beach. Quiet at night.
Quiet parking area over the Pentecost weekend. We spent one night with four other vans. Well located, two minutes’ walk from the beach, and good for hiking or running along the coast. No facilities, but there is a glass collection point; you can park farther away so you are not disturbed by local residents coming to empty their glass.
Spent 2.5 days here and can recommend. 2 min walk to public toilet and beach, 10 min walk to very nice town, 15 min walk to (year round) dog friendly beaches of Saint-Eugène & Grand Traict. Shaded parking.
We spent one night here. Heavy traffic early in the night, followed by many groups of drunk and therefore noisy people passing through because of several festive events nearby. Otherwise ideally located, three minutes’ walk from the beach and about 10 minutes from the town center and Mr Hulot Beach.
No view, but almost level and fairly quiet at night. Ideally located for reaching the coastal path and going for a walk.
I agree with the previous reviews, but at night there was the sound of mortar fire, followed later by shouting and unidentified noises.
Very pleasant grounds, a few meters from the beach, with bicycle rides starting nearby. A free toilet is a few hundred meters away at Place Jacques Tati. The few neighbors we met were friendly. We were four very quiet and respectful vans; please be the same :)
The place is amazingly good! We stayed there for one night; the beach, which is beautiful, is 80 meters away. You can also visit bunkers 250 meters away, and even go inside them, with a view of the bridge and the city. The road was somewhat noisy until 11 p.m., but there was hardly any traffic afterward. If you prefer more company, there is room for everyone at the submarine bunker in the middle of the city; you can stay there too.
