Been here?
Mountain spot along a ridge with beautiful, almost 360° views and many places to park. Recent information says the route is practicable for vehicles of all sizes, and the location is about 15 minutes on foot from the cemetery. It is quiet with no passing-car noise, but overnight stays are not permitted.

The place is interesting and worth seeing, but what everyone here ignores is that overnight stays are not allowed! It is clearly stated, so it is not surprising that campers have such a bad reputation…
Perfect location high in the mountains. The road is suitable for every vehicle and size without any problem! Plenty of places to stop all along the ridge, although the forest has burned farther on. Good network coverage. A 15-minute walk from the cemetery, which is worth visiting. An ideal place—please keep it clean.
Yes, we confirm. Take a small dirt track on the right before passing the cattle grid. Fully accessible by van. You can shower without being seen. No traffic noise from passing cars. Absolute peace and quiet. Magnificent view.
Arrived after nightfall… magnificent sky, and the morning view over Sad Hill is superb. Despite strong wind and cold.
Incredible views! I loved it. It is only a few metres off the track, with no problem for any vehicle. However, it is better to enter in reverse, as there is little room to turn around at the far end. It is a little sad that the surrounding vegetation appears to have burned not long ago.
