49 Via San Michele, 37018, Malcesine
Been here?
A small free parking area beside the intermediate cable-car station, suitable only for small vans. Access is very steep and narrow, and almost all spaces are sloping; recent reports describe only one reasonably level place. The location provides access to hiking routes, with water available at the station, but no toilets. It is generally quiet once the cable car and hikers have departed.

There is no point coming here. It is an enormous, steep climb, with narrow streets, and there is not a single level spot at the top.
Unfortunately completely unsuitable! Sloping, no view and a very steep approach. Save yourself the trip.
Great parking area with a beautiful view below the middle station. Unfortunately, there is only one level pitch; the rest are sloping, though they can be levelled. Drinking water is available at the station facilities. From around 7:30 p.m. you could hear only birds, cows and goats—really lovely! Free Wi-Fi too.
Arrived around 8am on Tuesday, there were still a few places to park (around 5-7). Total places to park around 15. Haven’t spent the night here, however I could easily image it. Free as said before.
Paid parking, open only from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Good place for one night because it is the only free one, near the middle cable-car station, S. Michele. Very steep, making it difficult to sleep there unless you find the only level spot at the base of the parking area. Nearby recycling bins. Very quiet, but it fills up early in the morning with hikers setting off on the trails.
The road there is very steep and some sections are narrow. It would probably be difficult for larger campers. With a little throttle our T6 made it up. The pitch is somewhat sloping, but directly by the middle station and hiking routes.
Very quiet night, with a lovely view and a starting point for beautiful hikes. The parking area is indeed sloping, but we managed to find a small, almost level nook.
The climb was a bit difficult; we met two tractors, which was complicated. One level space, otherwise you need levelling blocks. The cable car starts early and hikers are not always discreet, but that is normal.
Good but slightly sloping parking area. One space is level. Water fountain to the left of the cable car. Perfect for one or two nights and a great starting point for hikes. No toilets.
Very steep spot, but useful for one night. Access was difficult with our van and seems impossible with a motorhome. Starting point for a beautiful hike to the top of the funicular. To clarify the previous comment, do not park at the bottom in the restaurant car park; continue uphill past the funicular.
