Riverside parking, mosquitoes and horseflies

Magical place… several spaces by the water, but also a large parking area and the possibility of parking on the grass on the other side if it is busy or you have a very large vehicle (because it is not very flat by the river and there are trees with somewhat low branches). Busy but very quiet at night… a little haven of nature.

A very beautiful and very quiet place to spend the night.

Lovely quiet spot: waking up to the sound of birds and frogs. A fishing spot; this morning's fisherman was very discreet (let's hope they are all like him). Dead-end road but wide enough for maneuvering (we have a Fiat Ducato van, 2.05 m x 6 m x 2.70 m). Bins nearby (respect what nature offers us and leave no trace of your visit). A guaranteed return to basics.

A very pleasant setting where dogs can run around and swim safely. There were indeed a few cars coming and going until 11 p.m., then it was very quiet.

We spent two nights here one week apart. Thursday was fine, with little traffic. We were attacked by mosquitoes a bit, though… Saturday had an enormous amount of traffic, with vehicles coming and going without stopping at all hours. Nice spot for fishermen and walkers.

Quiet night, very accessible and pleasant spot. I recommend it.

A small quiet place for one night.

Very beautiful spot, but very busy during the day (and from early morning), especially with fishermen who will not be bothered by your presence and will park right in front of your door if necessary! You can also hear the nearby departmental road quite a lot, and there is an industrial pig farm on the other side...

Very quiet. The shade, which must be pleasant in summer, is obviously less so at this time of year. But it remains a very pleasant environment.

Very cute place to sleep by the water; there were three vans the night of August 16, but no overlooking each other.

Perfect place but quite crowded. Do not hesitate to go to the back for peace and quiet, because everyone gathers at the entrance. Plenty of space to park by the water, and the place is calm and peaceful. 4G and bins.

Very good spot. To access it, if you follow Waze, you have to turn right before the bridge. There are then many places where you can settle. Pleasant spot. Once at the end, there is a walkable dirt path leading up to the heights with a magnificent view.
